Gov. Announces $730,000 for Work Along Lake Michigan
Gov. Pat Quinn announced the Illinois Coastal Management Grants on Saturday. He says they are important investments that "will protect and manage the incredible natural and cultural resources surrounding our beautiful Lake Michigan."

Among those receiving grants is the city of Blue Island, which will get $30,000 to hold five workshops to raise awareness of area water trails.
When money is for workshops it is designated for that purpose!

It clearly spells out the intended purpose for the grant. FIVE WORKSHOPS TO HOLD AWARENESS.
