Anybody that uses the phrase "just saying" has no credibility.

I am witness of Mayor Peloquin requesting his rubber stamp Aldermen, involve the city of Blue Island financially with JAWA. This was done without any research on the Aldermen s part. And yes, then Alderman Vargas the Law Scholar, went along with it, without any questions!
Conspiracy is a powerful tool that lets prosecutors pull together disparate events, including those that fall outside the statute of limitations, to show they were manifestations of a larger criminal enterprise. Courts are willing to allow for broad use of the charge because, as the Supreme Court once noted,“collective criminal agreement — partnership in crime — presents a greater potential threat to the public than individual delicts.”

The federal grand jury has recently sent subpoenas through defense lawyers to people who might have knowledge about the fundraising effort, according to sources with knowledge of the investigation. Federal agents have continued to interview people involved in the fundraising, including Joliet pharmacist Harish Bhatt, sources said.
The Tribune has reported Bhatt was among the businessmen who attended the India House meeting setting up the December fundraiser.
Agents have also interviewed businessman Satish "Sonny" Gabhawala, he acknowledged Wednesday. Gabhawala, the owner of the Chicago Park Hotel in Harvey, told the Tribune in December that he was at the planning meeting for the Elmhurst fundraiser. He said Wednesday that FBI agents contacted him after that article, but asked him not to talk about it.
Blagojevich was indicted last week along with a group of key insiders and accused of running state government as a racket. He is to be arraigned Tuesday, along with his brother, fundraiser Christopher Kelly and Springfield power broker William Cellini.
There is a common thread throughout most of these incidents. The same individuals, their connectedness, and connections tell the story of white collar crime from beginning to end.
