Mt. Hope Cemetery has now opened an access road from 119th St into the cemetery. That means that the gang funerals that used to go down 115th St. are now going down 119th St. past the Metra station, the Bread and Bottle and the McDonalds and the 5th and 7th wards.

The people of the 19th ward in Chicago pushed for this access road on 119th St. because they were tired of the gang funerals terrorizing their neighborhood along 115th St. Now Blue Island gets to deal with the mess. Is the city ready for this? Are our aldermen working to have a plan in place complete with ordinances
to control the funerals? Have our aldermen been in contact with their residents in regards to this volatile situation? We need our elected leaders to step up and protect and inform their community!

Is there a public safety plan in place to protect the people who use the Metra station, the 119th St/Western Ave bus lines and the kids walking home from schools? In Evergreen Park when there is gang funeral, all of the schools are notified in advance. The kids are NOT released from school or allowed outside if there is gang funeral going by them. Is that going to happen in blue Island? It should.

Blue Island needs their mayor, aldermen, the BIPD and the schools need to work together to reduce the danger of these gang funerals to our residents. Can they come up with a plan? The people deserve it.

It appears our elected officials are not looking out for their constituency. We have been force fed the new train problem and now this.

19th ward opens a new ice skating rink/hockey rec center. Closes 115th to stop the traffic from the funerals. Already closed, and building by the way. Hey ask Don Peluquin. He was on the committee. He is always looking to help BI.

Need to reopen the Bread & Bottle or maybe a gun shop to help our economy along 119th. I'm sure 40oz or bullets would be a big seller! Sharks Fish should see an improvement their business.

In some countries, the government would use this opportunity to ambush and execute every a-- hole in this funeral procession. That would be a step forward for our society to rid these rats and parasites.
