Where are all the Restaurants

Richies II; Pablos; DeMar; Tuscan Grill; Tenochitlan; Esparza's; Mario's; Maple Tree. Some i know i've missed. Plus the fast food places. Yes it would be nice to have an up-scale place...one of the chains maybe....but if people don't support what's already here, why would another place come here? Or maybe you think they don't do market studies before deciding where to locate a new restaurant? QYB!

We have an up scale mayor and Pablo's is closed!

Are inspections completed quarterly and reports for food establishments posted?

When i was health inspector. Blue Island had some of the cleanest restaurants around.

Same as the Old Mayor.

I work in Retail Real Estate and there isn't one national "upscale" restaurant chain will come to Blue Island, ditto goes for the majority of retailers. We do not fit ANY of their demographics. Trust me.. I've researched hoping to bring something... anything....

I'm surprised the Jimmy Johns hasn't closed yet. I know they don't do well. The only national chains that survive in Blue Island is Subway, Popeyes and McDonalds. Essentially fast food.

There are just as many restaurants that have closed in Orland in the last year that you just named.

For every restaurant closing here, there are two more waiting to open up. Until you realize that BI doesn't need a lawyer, account and cop to run it, but instead a real business manager, you're going nowhere!
