The other day a friend of mine was walking close to McDonalds in Midlothian when young black (can I use that word) started throwing rocks at him. He called the police and the police told them to MOVE ON! So I guess move on to the next violent act you can do and just keep moving. Sad Shame on you Midlothian Police!

Well, it's things like this that should make people stand up for what they believe in. We don't that is the problem. Midlothian police are afraid? Don't give a rats ass? All of the above would be my answer. And they wonder why things are going down hill in that town?

A kid was throwing rocks, so you called the police?? Really? Glad the kid was outside playing, instead of inside playing video games. I'm glad they didn't waste their time in that!!!

This day and age you have to call police you cant approach kids like in the old days and ask them what the heck were they thinking you'll go to jail. They should be spoken to maybe learn a little bit about right and wrong. Now days the police can do it but you can't.

I guess I don't understand why any adult would approach a child, that is not their own. Obviously their parents are not doing a good job of raising them, but it is not another adults place to correct that. It is also not something worth calling the police over.

It absolutely is something to call the police about. The police should have at least created a contact card on this kid. What if it was another kid they were throwing rocks at? What if that kid or this adult for that matter lost an eye because of this? What if they decide to throw rocks at vehicles driving and it causes a crash where someone loses their life? Guess that doesn't matter.

You're an idiot we shouldn't have to walk away from someone throwing rocks at us unless they're 5 years old but it appears they were young teens. They sure of hell should of been approached its unexceptable behavior they should be reprimanded.the police ARE the only ones besides parents who could address this situation.

The original post said nothing of the age. Yes, a 17 year old kid should have repercussions, for doing something like that.
