These are some but feel free to add ones you can think of. This a not a good thing that it seems to keep growing faster than one that would contain new ones.

Three car dealers
7-11
Honda Dealer
Kawasaki dealer
Family Pride
Sentry Foods
Family Video
Walgreens moved but it's old location is empty
Various stores in the Corsi Plaza

Now add your own.

Not so much what has closed, but what has opened? A new liquor store on 147th and a Title Loan shop where the 7-11 was. Can't wait for the pawn shops to open up.

There is nothing misplaced about gathering a list of businesses that left over the past 5 years, let alone the past 10 years. To attract economic growth, we must first understand the trends that led us here which is what this kind of a list accomplishes.

Consign It left last year and so did a furniture store in Mid Oaks Plaza.

It is not Midlothians fault that Dodge of Midlothian and Arrow Chrysler closed. Dodge of Midlothian closed because the Gormans were crooks and chrysler forced them to close. Arrow Chrysler closed becasue Chrysler wants to get rid of all of its single brand franchises and wanted mancaris jeep and Arrow chrysler to combine but neither owner would sell to the other.

Midlothian sucks, 80% homes for sale are foreclosed on, the people that ran this town must be on drugs they are all to blame,

Well look next door in Crestwood and seems to not be as big of a problem. I wish it were the other way but it just seems to be getting worse and worse.

Does anyone know what ever happened to the storage facility they were making out of the old building on 147th next to Browns Chicken? Work stopped last year but I haven't heard anything else mentioned. Wondering if it went belly up?
