Nothing is going to change. It is the same however, just different people padding pockets. They duped the public once again. You think your going to get a rebate. How about the police commissioner who has no training however, own the tow company that makes all the money for the village. Think he is not padding his pockets. Listen to his KID"S talk about who they know and what they are getting. So you voted someone in you thought would make Crestwood better and the only thing your getting is other people padding the big old pockets they have. Open your eyes Crestwood. Look what's going on. It's not going to get better. And by the way good luck with your REBATE.

You seem to be very concerned. It also sounds like you know him personally considering you know what's going in his pockets so why don't you talk to him about it? Also, bringing someone's kids into things it's very mature. Sounds to me you are jealous!

Just another person with nothin better to do than to worry about someone else, obviously without knowing the facts, has no idea what some of these people do for the town without making a dime, instead of crying and hiding behind anonymity be a man or woman and do something about it

Just a few quick questions maybe some here can answer. When new businesses come in to Crestwood are they given a tax incentive? Are any businesses asked to hire qualified residents first? I'm curious because many residents are looking for work and have applied to new and older stores and have not been hired in their own town. I would think if there was a deal made with stores that they should at least hire first from the towns that give them tax breaks. I would think the mayor would at least make some attempt to have his own residents working.

You must be qualified to be hired. If you lack the skills they will not hire you. Just because you live her does not mean you are hired. Get educatd then you will get hired.

Reread my post and show me where I posted an unqualified person should be hired due to residency.

Residents can fill out a general job application at the village hall. It was always the practice to encourage any new business in town to go through those applications first when hiring new employees. This is a win/win for businesses and the village because it gives residents employment opportunities and the business get employees that live close to work and it saves them the costs of advertising employment.

Nice job of the police parking restrictions, parking over sidewalks can't even walk around the block without running in to cars parked over the sidewalks. Nice job on city ordinance that comes out every year in the flyer.

In Blue Island the police say the building dept. is responsible to enforce this ordinance but you call the building dept. and they say only a police officer can write a ticket?

Maybe they should give him a ticket book. They use them in Posen I know for a fact. They have a code enforcement marked car. He did write my mom a ticket for long grass in the ally. Looks like Posen workers do their job correctley
