At last weeks meeting (4/11/13) Denise Borne turned in her resignation. Village treasurer, the one who is responsible for the village books. The books that a couple of trustees have said were not correct. The books that the residents were told would be audited. Seems funny she quits after Terry lost the election.

What about the other employee that also turned in their resignation? The person Terry won't let any one know his or her name. Terry made a big statement when he lost to Sharon that he wanted to have a easy change over.

Just another one of Terry & co. vast list of lies. How many other things is he not letting be known. It looks like Terry & Co. are still playing by their own rules. He needs to realize that the election is over, He did not get the all boys club members in. The residents elected 2 women into office. So Terry & Mo what else are you trying to hide?

They also told the police department that they would be replaced with part timers and they told public works that their staff was being cut in half. I can't believe that they are acting just like Murawski did when he left office. I wonder what they've already shredded. Good riddance to the treasurer.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few months. Sometimes a spring housecleaning is not a bad thing.

Resignations already? That's kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Hope she has a hard time getting unemployment then. Childish!

Midlothian will have some tough times ahead. No big business will ever invest in a town with a government that turns over every election cycle. Tinley Park is successful because they have a stable local government that has been around for over 30 years. With new and unqualified officials that changes ever 2-4 years, we will never see any improvement. Oak Forest looks like it's making a nice recovery, which makes our situation even worse. God help us all.

I heard the treasurer was going to step down before the election and was asked to stay through the election. So this has been thought about by her for awhile and was not a snap decision just because Sharon won.

You are kidding, right. We in Midlothian have had 3 mayors in the past 51 years. That's about as stable as it gets. Where are the businesses you speak of that invest in 'stable' towns?

I'm talking about future development. With the Bozo government good luck having a Best Buy come to town. Brookside Place on 191st and Harlem, LaGrange Road in Orland has very few vacancies and when they do happen they are filled pretty darn quickly. Seems the towns to our west have no trouble attracting business. Professional government is key. When we have a bunch of clowns running the town its no wonder that we are a laughing stock.

It is very sad indeed. These Bozo's that won actually had their supporters heckling voters doing their civic duty who they knew would not support them. They are very immature and unprofessional and should have been at work as they are on the park districts payroll. They are involved with the school board and ridicule informed citizens, it's no wonder the school district is failing. They don't respect the law or the residents.

Take a ggod look at a Map of Midlothian. We are what they call Landlocked. Meaning we cannot expand our borders, which means we have to work with the property we have, which means, don't ever count on a Big Box store coming here. We just don't have the land to support this. As far as Orland Park goes on Business' take a slow drive down LaGrange. You'll see a lot of empty store fronts. What you say? In ORLAND, Yes Orland. What we need here is for the greedy lqandlords to quit asking such a high price square footage wise to attract a business to there empty storefronts and SOMEONE whoever it may be in this VILLAGE to help attract business. The Car sales may be gone but, we need a good car salesman to sell this town to a business.

The only business these Bozo's generate is legal fees. Reading the limited minutes from the park district it looks like they managed to get into another lawsuit.

C. Granata made the motion to go into closed session to discuss
information pertaining to possible litigation at 8:28 p.m.. C. Nielsen
seconded the motion. Roll call indicated
Ayes: C. Granata, C. Nielsen, T. Powers, M. Kohlstedt
Nays: None

So now we will be able to bring some business in. We have sent the clowns back to the circus.
Yyes I cn't wait for more cash for gold places and liquor stores. Maybe another 4 hour nap place would fit in nicely on Cicero. Our group of clowns both on the winning and losing side of the last election are so unprofessional and unqualified I have no great hope for the near future of Midlothian.

All these players are on the tax payers dime: Gillis receives disability payments but works full time for MPD and is a paid trustee (sic), Gleason and Rybak are both paid employees at the park district and approve generous contracts (paid by the public) at the school board, Will we also have to pay Rybak a pension for being mayor ? Kries worked at the county and is receiving her pension. They have no idea what a working family has to deal with. They all receive public funds as their income. They are blood suckers on our community.

Could it be much worse than all the business that we didn't get while Terry was mayor. Speaking of unqualified, maybe you can tell us why a real estate attorney has been used in our village hall. Immature? Oh!! You mean like the tantrum Terry threw after last weeks board meeting? Or the one he threw at a bar a couple years ago? Or the fact that every time his life goes crazy he blames someone else? Yeah, he's real mature. Oh maybe you didn't mean just the mayor. So lets talk about the treasurer who can't treat people humanely. Who walks around with that sour look on her face all the time. Or maybe the clerk in one of the other departments that sits outside smoking all day. Or maybe the ladies in the office that have a standoff with each other every time a resident comes to the window. Oh yes, that's all very mature. Professional? Well, all of the above speak volumes about that word! Look, we need for something to happen for this town. Drop the shock and anger about the independent party finally crumbling and help move this town forward. Every time you Terry people and village hall employees post, it makes you look worse and worse.

I am not a village hall employee I am a homeowner and taxpayer that has lived here long enough to watch the rapid decline in our community over the last 10 years and it shows no signs of slowing down either. the quality of the people that have run the town in the past and in the future are an embarrasment. I want to sell my house but can't get more than a few bucks for it. That is why I call myself a SAD Midlo taxpayer.

Rybak's website when she ran for the school board stated how a well run school district was important in keeping property values up. She urged voters to support her as she was someone who had the insight and financial acumen to make that happen. The school scores have dropped along with property values and then she voted to raise my taxes. Now she's going to fix Midlothian. The first thing she'll do is hire Billy Gleason's law firm as pay back to her boss. The second thing she'll do is route any money into the Bremen Township School Treasurers' office like she did with the park district.
