Wait a minute. Is this the same attorney who said the elder Stroger signed the affidavit while he was still in a coma ? Is that how he became Todd's attorney? Is there no honor among thieves ? Maybe they should hire a law firm to see if the county government was over billed by this Shyster ? Doesn't he seem like a real Shyster ?

What do Todd Stroger, Pam Frasor, Don Peloquin have in common? They would sell their own children to the devil for a buck.

Burt Odelson in legal circles is what they call a RAIN MAN ! His firm does legal work for all these Municipalities and before you know it they get caught in his evil web. Which ends up costing the taxpayers millions and millions of dollars in legal fees. Where ever he works, the budget for Attorney fees always goes up, it never declines. He really deserves his very own thread ! But I do agree with the other writers to this thread, the above three mentioned have very much the same personalities.

The local Municipal lawyers seem to be suffering from the "arrogance of power."
Independent conservative voters are intelligent enough to understand what is going on in the Blue Island area, the elected officials have promised change, but this has not occurred.
The above mentioned politicians seem to be blinded by the presumption of their own importance to see that we, the people, do understand the consequences of their actions and what it will cost you, the taxpayer in the future. The aforementioned is what these bloodsuckers have in common.

I really do not think Todd Stroger deserves to be compared to this bunch. He inherited his mess, where the frasor-peloquin team created theirs !

Back in July 2008, when "Your Sales Tax Calendar" debuted here, we had one goal: to be sure you didn't forget the needless, regressive tax hike that Cook County Board President Todd Stroger and his allies had foisted on his constituents. Forgetting is what some politicians hope you'll do: If you forget, they survive elections.

This time, you didn't forget. You telephoned, you e-mailed, you pressured. You terrified many of the pols and hacks and do-littles at the County Building. They never had seen you rise up in anger. They responded. You made them whittle the nearly $900 million in new taxes Stroger had wanted for 2008 down to what it is in 2010: a still egregious $200 million that floats this bloated, defiant government.

This little calendar has become a tool for recalling so much more: legislators' protection of Rod Blagojevich, their refusal to let you recall him and them, the lies of Roland Burris, the insolvency of state government, the intentionally weak ethics bills, the borrowing that could cripple our children's Illinois, the tax structure that drives employers — and jobs — far away.

Many of the pols who run Illinois and Cook County still hope you'll forget what they've done. Don't. Push back. You matter.

And, all day long, hound every adult in your life to do the same.

Did we mention that the polls close at 7?

Todd Stroger needs to be given his hat & shown the door with a kick in the ass for good measure.
His arrogance was beyond belief. This man's only concern was "Getting Over". This is the type of attitude that runs rampant in certain areas of Cook County and the City. Of course when you bring it up, the "Racist" flag is hoisted in the air for all to see. But Lil' Stroger has forgotten one thing...the Hispanics owe him nothing. The Anglos may wince at the "racist" claim but the Hispanics could give a hoot in hell about it. We will not be talked down to as many of Strogers people have done to us nor will we be threatened as many have been. If Todd Stoger and his people think we will back him he is sorely mistaken. We are the new dominant minority in this nation, state & county....and he as his people better get used too it and kiss our ass! ViVa LaRaza!

The only common denominator that can be found is the same attorney being used for both governmental bodies !The good thing about having new people get elected will be a fresh legal perspective. The elected public servants frasor-peloquin team fought any type of Ethics Legislation. They could not let themselves be bound by any restrictions when it came to how your tax dollars were wasted ! Look @ the closed stores in Blue Island ,this is what twenty five years of corruption have accomplished.

You have to wonder, don't you ? What is Burt Odelson always smiling about when you see him with Todd Stroger ? How can we find out if he was the attorney who witnessed John Stroger sign the affidavit while he was in a comatose state ?
