this story still breaks my heart. the aunt should be charged too. How could she not have known. RIP Gina you are gone still loved and not forgotten.

Maybe he should have acted instead of sitting by and blaming others. Put blame where it belongs Mom...Aunt...boyfriend.

this is an example of mis-placed blame and the culture of going after the deep pockets. Yes, if ggrandpa was so concerned about this little girls welfare HE would have done something. But of course that would mean that he'd have to take some responsibility and that wouldn't make for a very successful lawsuit.

Should be real simple. If you sue and there is no merit, the plaintiff pays the entire freight!! That would cut down on all the BS.

Why isn't he suing his daughter who allowed the boyfriend to live with her and abuse her child? I'm sorry but she carries 100% of the blame for this tragedy.
