I did not care of Worth Days very much this year. Seems like all the focus was on beer garden and getting people to spend money on drinks. I liked in the past when it was more family freindly. DID not care for OUR Mayor of Worth handing out BEER in the BEER GARDEN. No class there at all.

How many people saw former park commissioner Helen Goy booing and giving two thumbs down to the park district during the parade? while the color guard were performing for the judges I'm glad the girls in the color guard didn't notice, how sad of a person must she be to do something like that while sitting on the reviewing stand.total disrespect and lack of class on her part.

I was at the fest, it was the same as last year. There were many things for my children to do, just as is the past. Why don't you take your head out of your butt and volunteer, maybe then you would realize how much work goes into Worth Days. Maybe you were too drunk to notice. I live near the site and happened to see the Mayor setting up Worth Days on Thursday and Friday morning, where were you. I also saw him volunteering in the beer garden and also in the ticket booth on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. At least we have a Mayor who will volunteer his time to work Worth Days and not show up just for photos. Its people like you who give Worth Days a bad name. Why don't you volunteer next year instead of just being a gossip columnist.

I "liked" the fest. It's still a little pricey for a family of 5, but I understand why. We still went, spent frugally and had a great time. The parade was fun! My only disappointment is that I don't feel there was enough representation from Worth organizations...mainly the WORTH Girl Scout troops. Were the boy scouts from Worth? I think the Park District needs to stand up taller and be heard. They should NOT have been all the way at the end of the parade. I was afraid they weren't going to be there at all. The color guard was awesome and they should have been showcased more!
It sucked that most of the parade was organizations from other towns. For anyone to Boo anyone in the parade showed poor judgment. A parade is supposed to be fun and there are too many kids around for "adults" to make stupid displays like that. Grow up or stay home.

The fest was great but the poor color guard was a poor shadow of what it has been in the past. They used to be bigger and looked much more together. Very sad that they have become just another group from Worth that used to be good.

I hated Worth Days. Charging me to get in and I pay taxes? What is this board thinking?? And then you have the board members walking around drinking and partying it up..you think they paid to get into the fest?? OR for their beer?? No way in Hell. And to top it off, I saw a trustee of Worth ( J.S. wife) sitting at the been garden having drinks with C.B.! Way to support the boy who got shot Mrs.J.S. Maybe your two daughers were in your garages doing the same. NEXT year...KEEP the board away from the fest and give it to an elected committee to run the fest. I vote for Steve W and Paula M to head up the fest!!

Every time CB is mentioned we get a post from you. I think you are the scu.. and hiding from reality. You and your 2 buddies aren't going to change the facts or the towns opinion. I liked the parade. I love all parades. Where was Worth Library? Did i miss it? Where was W. Jr High? Marist? Stagg? We needed more bands. Was Worth Methodist Church there? Where was the Banks or FairPlay? I am not sure if i saw the Worth- CR scouts or not. Where were the Brownies? It was good but it seems like it was poorly promoted. Panthers rocked. But all in all a good time. I hope we always have it. Many towns have done without.

I agree with you Whats up. This person sits here and waits for somebody to bash her bff C.B. and then she mouths off at us. As far as the FEST..I say keep it..but TAKE it away from the Board!! They promoted it with no desire, and they used it to have a few free drinking days for themselves. Who else did not walk the parade: W.A.A., Soccer, and I did not see St. Marks this year.

Oh the CB wantabee pom poms are at a girls night out ( 7 out of 7). They'll be here when happy hour is over. As for the Parade, St, Marks ( were they there?) and Worth Methodist... they use to have a big float/ trailers with gospel singers and some instruments. Where was that? That doesn't cost any amount of $$. It was rich in spirit. Where was that? Is our town dying? Or they just don't care? I think Fairplay, CVS & Walgreens should of attended. Even if they handed out water bottles and coupons. We ALL spend our money there.
