The Flower Nook

We were very impressed by the customer service and bouquet which was sent to our home. Delivery was perfect for my wife's birthday and very reasonable. If you have a price range, talk to the owner, she will and is very willing to work with you. These were the freshest flowers I have seen in quite a long time. Forget online flowers, give them a call. If I understood your grammar I could answer you. All I can say is my experience with them, and we are very pleased. No, I do not know the owner or anyone that works there other then our conversation on the phone.

Sad, I think tout is supposed to mean the same as a shill or a hawker. I am still working on biddness, I'll try to get back to you on that one

Lemon Drop Kid.. This is a message board, not twitter or a texting board. No need to limit characters ( by characters I mean letters) to get your point across, and computers do have spell check. You should use it.

By the way, the flowers still look as fresh as the day they were delivered, 10 days ago, in fact some are still blooming, my wife loves them. Everyone that seen them said they are stunning. We changed the water every other day. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

My BF had a horrible experience there on V-Day. He said the service was horrible and they seemed very confused. They definitely were not ready to handle the rush the day. He left and went elsewhere.

They are new, and still working things out. Ours were for the 9th, and they still look nice. I never go to a flower shop, its always order via phone or internet. I know my price range and let them know up front. What we got for the money along with the delivery was much nicer then I have ordered ever off the internet, although they did have a bit of an issue putting my card through, but they worked that out.

I didn't realize topix was a far place to travel.

Thanks for your helpful input.

I am sure that any other day would have gone more smoothly.

We just felt bad for them because they were too new to be prepared.

I am definitely going to give them a try. I was impressed when someone from the shop met commuters coming off the train, handing out flowers with a note attached stating that they would meet you at the train station with your order, or curbside pickup if you prefer. Love the effort and it's nice to see a business that is willing to go the extra mile to accommodate the customer.

I've ordered flowers there a couple of times and the owner is great! It's great to see someone trying to make a go of a business in these tough economic times. I agree with sad case that it's better than the internet and so nice to be able to hop off the train and run over and pick something up or place an order.

I am going to give them a try for my mom's birthday. I came to see any comments posted for them, since it is a new business. I know my brother has gotten flowers for a few occasions from them and they were beautiful. I agree about giving the business to a local - and have also been extremely disappointed from internet purchases that were way too expensive for the quality.

Hey, don't patronize bussinesses in town. Enough people do that and don't give a new bussiness a chance to work out the bugs, you can have a storefront church or all night barbershop move into that spot.

I also have had a great experience with the flowers I purchased. I look forward to those special occasions. They also seem to have a good mix to pick from and prices are good.

I ordered a birthday basket for my daughter's 21st, it smells wonderful and the owner was so nice. I would definitely recommend. I will also be a returning patron.
