Anyone know why village website says midlothian country club began in 1900 when it opened in 1898? Also club was 4th to open in Illinois not 3rd. Chicago golf club in Wheaton 1894 then Glenview golf and polo club in 1897 and Skokie country club 1897

Ken Wahl, no mateer what any publication says, was born and raised in Oak Forest. His Dad had an Enco gas station on 147th and Cicero where Fannie May now is back in the late 60's. He graduated from Laramie Jr. High school in 1970, went to Oak Forest High until he got kicked out and then finished at Bremen in 1975.He is ashamed of his Suburban Chicago roots and it makes him look more appealing if he falsifies things to make him look like he is from New York or his last name is really Cavaretta or whatever.

I thought he was from Posen .I knew him in high school was one of the nicest guys back then .Then he went to Hollywood and became an addict of some sort . I hope he's clean now , still handsome . I remember him talking about how he was adopted by a Posen family .I really hope he's doing well .Such a sweet guy.

How about Dennis DeYoung as the music teacher at Spaulding Elementary in the late '60's?
DeYoung was at Spaulding only in 1969-70 school year (may not have started year there, tho). Next 2 years he was music teacher for all District #143 schools. Don't know if he taught beyond that.:-)
