We didn't see any plows that whole night, I guess now we know why.
It doesn't matter if you are a tax payer, it is all in who you are connected to. All winter my block would try and move cars and the plows still would not go to the curb. I guess just paying your taxes, isn't good enough, what if we stopped paying them, maybe then they would get the hint that we are fed up.

Do they even care that the equipment belongs to the taxpayers, it is not for their exclusive use. Anyone remember the last time a certain public servant abused the taxpayers property and what happened then?

Yes, can't remember guys names but there were couple of employees on different occasions they were stealing from the city. They FIRED them
All. That was when the word "Terminated" existed. But if the Rita's are in charge and if they are friends of any involved start looking for the rug to sweep it under. When you start seeing piles under the rug send it all to the MEDIA they then will have to do something.

If they don't address this then send the video to the media. Attach the bad guys names to it. Then inform the BGA.
I agree if nothing happens, lets wait and see. But how will you know who was driving both equipment and truck? Or will Mr. Berrini bring them all down with him. Curious to see results.

The majority of all his employees know everything going on at P/W dept. Frankie better not bring them down to save his own ass.

Thank goodness for the weather that dropped our street is just now starting to look better from it melting. We have a 2 way street that had 1 path that was NOT curb to curb. If this superintendent stays in his position after this I will invest in my own plow and do my own street, I refuse to go through another year of shitty service. Fine Me!!

And watching the video it looks like it was taken in a camcorder not his security which u can see mounted from the porch... Who's to say parking the van away from curb wasn't a set up by a disgruntled resident told not to plow anymore

That means when my neighbors have to park away from the curb because plows didn't clean to the curb, we can all call the city to rescue us too. Who really cares how this video was made? These actions where wrong and needed to be made public to the taxpayers. Thank you Mr. Irving, I will be keeping an eye out as well. I also applaud you for your great loyalty to your neighbors for clearing your street and making it safer for them. By threating you with fines for these acts of kindness is unacceptable, we have all been told to help our selves.
We need a good Samaritan like you on all our blocks and all your neighbors should be thankful. No regular taxpayer was able to count on public works this year and the roads have been deplorable, thank God it has warmed up enough that they have melted naturally. We now have to see what it will take to get all these roads repaired, they have never been this bad and need the city's attention asap.

Nice try! That's why we have a towing company. Did you really watch the video or are you trying to cover someone's ass?

Trying to cover someone's ass, of course. Find the rug and broom, start sweeping.

I do not own a van. I do not even park on my street. I always invite my neighbors to park in front of my home after snow is cleared. There are 15 active security recording cameras which have put three residential burglary felons behind bars. You are welcome at my home to discuss anything you wish to talk about. You state I am disgruntled about plowing my block, its of no loss to me ,it actually saves me money and wear and tear on my equipment. These events have gone on for over 25 years with no accountability. You can't fix it now Florence no name resident deal with it you voted them in office.
