It's amusing to me when people like you keep saying Midlothian (or any town for that matter) is dead/done/dying. Even towns like Flint, MI are still trying to keep it alive even after catastrophic loss of jobs, infrastructure and significant surges in crime.

If the spirit of the people is not broken, there's still a chance to mount a comeback. You must be a glass half empty person or just someone that likes to insult people....Hey, maybe both. Improvement takes time, period.

If we can't bring in major retailers, the least we can do is provide our police/fire with modern tools to at least keep the village from turning into a complete ghetto of crime and burned down buildings. Sometimes a piece of technology provides more results then hiring extra people. Infrared cameras, k9, unmarked patrol vehicles, cameras throughout town, training, etc....improve what we have, don't just add more dead ends.

are you talking about that $50,000 suv the fire chief drives or the some of that equipment that has not responded to fire in town in last 10 years, time for a fire sale, or how about the esad cars that we only use a few times a year

Hell most of u people are too afraid to call the cops here. I have warrants I live in the apartments on 148th and Kenton. Crime free housing is a joke...hell I'm a perfect example. I still have ties with organized crime. But u people just let me run free and do whatever I want. Lol thanks!
