Brad Grove for Mayor

There are no questions for Barker. Her horrific record speaks for it self. 12 years of consistent tax increases as school board member and president. In bed with Balderman in 2006 as president. And being aligned with Grove. This woman will be the kiss of death to transparency and accountability in the Clerks office.

Oh yeah baby! Cruising with my besty MD...in my sweet ride... Nothing like it. Wish he didn't have to go back to Colleyville so much. We were set to do real damage.

Most people who think Village trustees should not own or operate taverns in the villages where they are elected officials would be even more repulsed at the disregard for the law shown by Chicago Ridge Trustee Brad Grove. What about Underage drinkers? DUI drivers sent out on the streets? How about the stories of bar fights? The Grove Sports Bar is left completely alone by the Chicago Ridge Police because the “Boss” owns it. Ask any 20-something that you know about the reputation of that place. If you see the Boss ask him why he serves underage drinkers. If he says he doesn't don't vote for him. Ask him if anyone ever leaves his bar too drunk to drive, don't vote for him. In other words, don't vote for him at all. He won't ever tell you the truth. He is above questioning.

They are coming back big time. Brad, Mike, Lynn and Jack are true winners.

That's right folks. We are going to kick some Independent tail. Only we can run for office around here. We will get more signs out and have another fundraiser and put the old Mayors name on everything because he told us we were supposed to win and well we really didn't. As soon as we figure out who is in charge around here we are going to be taking things over. After all, those people who won weren't really supposed to win. They didn't have an office or anything and they sure didn't have more signs. And we had that Tokar and Quintos with us and they just dragged us down. We were supposed to win but hey between Scuba diving and moving to Texas and being retired we had a lot going on. It was too hard for Lynn to get everyone elected because of her horrible record on the school board but we might be able get her elected in 2017 because she is great at stuff. One thing is for sure we have to keep having parties because if we keep everyone drunk they will help us get more signs.

I write to you out of utter disdain! You are as despicable and un-American as the traitor Jane Fonda.
I am a soon to be 65 year-old who has voted in every state and local election since 1966. I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats alike.
I have worked on campaigns for both Republicans and Democrats, white and black. I served the country that I love in Vietnam, as my son did in the Middle East.
I was awarded two bronze stars. I have been involved in politics most of my life. I admire those who work for their constituents and their country, and was to be admired, unlike you who simply glorifies having power.
You obviously haven't read the Constitution recently, if ever, the Federalist Papers, or even David McCulloughs book on John Adams. You ought to take the time while riding around in your government provided luxury executive jet to do just that. You represent Socialistic, and even Marxist, principals that our founding fathers tried to avoid when setting out the capitalistic republican form of government represented by our Constitution.
I find it interesting that you so wealthy with much of your fortune being made as a result of your public service. You have controlled ordinances and bent rules that have enhanced your wallet. At the same time you redistributed the wealth of others. Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you. You add nothing to the local economy; you only subtract therefrom with your eysore business.
Don't ever use the term un-American again for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. By the way, while I served in the Army, I was spit on by the same type of lunatics who support you and who you probably supported in the 60s and 70s.
You are an embarrassment to all of us who served so that you would have the protected right of free speech. You are a true disgrace to most of the people who have served this Village by offering themselves for public service.
I await your defeat in the next election with glee...

You don't need to wait too long. Nobody puts Bradley in the corner. He'll be back. He thinks that all Village jobs are easy and all the Village workers are lazy. He is a Master of the Universe because his dad showed him how to mix morter. He bragged all the time and gave himself full credit for being the first trustee ever getting tough on clearing out the non-resident hires even though the Residency rule was on the books for decades. There is even more non-residents working at the Village than ever. Now there are lawsuits, accusations and uproar. Let’s put him in charge because nobody cares and obviously anything goes around here.

The post you were commenting on was total tongue in cheek. On another note, if everything you said in your post is true-then thank you for being a well informed citizen. And if you are a well informed citizen - you know who NOT to vote for in the next mayoral election.

I think you should vote for a politician by his record. You should go through the trouble to check on how a politician votes. Looking at Brad's record would probably say that he is really not a tea party guy but that he is more of a whiskey party guy. Does the Village really need that? I heard that he is changing the name of the Perfomance Party to the Dereliction of Duty Party

It is too late for the “Performance Party” to change their image.
They have pushed, bullied, stumbled and cried to the Village but their history speaks for itself.
It would be much easier if they were not lying about the true residency of their party treasurer and current trustee at the same time that they preach residency to the Village employees.
They brought no peace and seemed to want to make the departmens account for all the pennies while they gave their pals lucrative contracts and jobs.
After years of not caring about the village, why should we believe they care now?
This Village has suffered badly the whole time these trustees were on the Village Board. And while they shouldn’t get all the blame, they have to know that they will.

Drunk brad for mayor might as well write the village off. He'll run it into the ground like his bar that he has nothing to do with.

hey Brad, what ever happened to all the small business licenses is you wanted to make mandatory. Now that you're not to trust you anymore, should the village require you they have a small business license? I'm not talking about for your bar, I'm talking about for all theconstruction trucks & equipment that you I have behind it.if we're going to make all the people who cut hair, and do other side jobs have a license, so should you!
