So lawyer - how do you know that the parents will even sue? That was a dumb comment. p.s. why would they bother? Both kids are dead and they are'nt coming back.

Hey! Instead of railing on these two dead kids why don't you turn to the Paris Hilton fiasco.
Her lawyers are going to appeal the jail sentence she got for violating the terms of her probation (for DUI). Now that's something that deserves all your venimous deprecations. |
||||
I would sue, the ins co would cover it and the $ can be used for some sort of memorial scholarship. People have sued for so much less, this is totally wrongful death. The question to answer after to sue or not would be do you sue them into oblivion or do you take a settlement. |
||||
|
Watch the teevee ads with which the lawyers spam the airwaves. The parents of the dead passenger "DESERVE" a large cash settlement.
And the lawyers 'deserve' their third of it. |

Typical dumbass guidos. They're overpopulated on Long Island anyway. Here's a tip to the rest of you growing up gotti rich boys, don't gel your hair while going 130, might end up badly.

Did'nt even think of the scholarship in memory of the kids. That is a very good idea. I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing it out. The thing I was thinking that if the parents were friends, why would I sue? Both kids are dead, they are not coming back. But the way you mentioned it, has promise. |

It's really quite puerile and pathetic to add this comment when two people in the prime of their lives are forever lost. Did anyone really display shock at the cause of this accident, or did you misinterpret their horror at its violence? Keep it to yourself next time. The Bellmore community has it hard enough as it is.

My thoughts and prayers to those families who lost their sons. I have 3 children, and I couldn't even imagine what these parents are going through. It is extremely insensitive to say that there is no one to blame except themselves.
So many of us are to blame, not just in this case but in the upbringing of our young people today. I believe the driving age should be changed. They change the drinking age, but kids still do it. Parents allow it.(I am not saying these kids were impaired, or if they were that their parents had knowledge of it. I'm speaking generally now). If kids were not allowed to have their permit and license until later, parents would not allow them to drive. They would be less inclined to take the chance of having their uninsured child have an accident that wouldn't be covered. They certainly wouldn't be purchasing any car for them, be it a sports car or not. |

The accident involving your friend Jack ATSIDAKOS was reported on local radio and the sample was used by the KLF on their chillout album in the song Madrugada Eterna...his story has become quite a ledgend

Stoneman Douglas High School Florida awhile back displayed the mutilated vehicle of a crash due to alcohol.
As a passer by and witnessing this vehicle made some lasting impression on me. It was sickning to say the least. All High Schools should go to the junk yard and showcase a mutilated wrecked vehicle, it's bound to make some student think twice. |

Mike and Jack, I never spoke to you guys but I was reading through all the comments on facebook and I see how much everyone loved you and you were such great kids. I was crying while reading those beautiful comments. I hope that other people will learn from your mistake, I know that I did. Sometimes I'll admit I'm not the safest driver and I speed but after reading all those comments you boys have taught me the dangers of it. You boys seemed like incredible people and I wish that I had the opportunity to get to know you. Rest In Peace Mike and Jack, only the good die young. I know that you guys are watching over everyone. rip <3
