It's not the place I work at, nor is it my boss that the bouncers work under, now go back to Port Washington and grow enough of a set to use your own name.

MR NOSE wrote: <quoted text>you have some valid points, however, why punch your own ticket. It is your ticket to punch, not the governments. When we keep all of these individuals alive that much longer, we are going to have to pay the extra social security, pay the medical, pay the long term care and have that many more homes and apartments taken up by individuals who would have otherwise been dead. There is one tiny minority that is driving all of this nonsense. They believe that life must be preserved at any cost. They just neglect to tell you that you will be paying the cost and to whom you will be paying that cost. We are all victims of these tiny forces. Their God tells them to preserve life no matter what. This tiny group has hijacked and manipulated the process for personal gain tot he exclusion of everyone else in the nation. Time to eliminate the stupidity from our culture. .,.,.,.,.,

RETIRED wrote: <quoted text>if you were on the job 28 yrs ,you know they are doing backround checks. ex -cops don/t go to head of the line. Three months to do a backround check on some one who was a cop for 28 years and been off for less than a year is absurd, there is no way that it should take that long was my point. We are in the age of computers, correct???

Require an engineers license to pump gas!
Require a Chemistry License to be a bartender!
Require a Psychology degree to be a bartender!
Require a Substance Abuse Degree to serve!
How about the town of Huntington go after the illegals raping our town, or the corruption in thier own ranks, and stay the fuck out of the bars. That will not happen, the smoking ban was just the begining, if ONE person does not like alcohol, rest assured, it will soon be tak4en away from everyone.
Shut up, be happy, obey all laws without question. The comfort you've demanded is now mandatory! At last, everything will be done FOR you.

If you're a retired PD, you're company shouldn't wait for you to get you're guard license. That is ridiculous, you should be able to get a job with you're retired police id right away while its pending. I am a civilian armed security guard, and i have been unarmed up until 2006. For me to get my upgraded armed guard id from department of state took a month. State has lots of applicants and they do a background check but there are still guards in the field who are not suitable for this job. Believe it or not, the state is not doing a good job screening people for the position of security, or it maybe because my company hires people that are not fit for the job. Ive seen guards that hardly speak proper english, have missing limbs, with no interpersonal skills WHAT SO EVER. This really has to stop because they are a liability to other guards and the public.
