He's just keeping it real like all of the other players over in Purely Ghetto County. It's one thing to have the Po-Po on your tail but quite another to have the Alphabet (FBI, IRS, CIA, NSA) looking over your shoulder. Any moment now you will hear the race card played.

Yep the old race card has to be played just like in the Jenrette abscam case and the gov of new jersey case and the Spitzer case and the...on and on it goes. I guess the FBI had to go after somebody black or they would have been charged with racial bias for targeting so many white folks. Hey, how about those two Nixon Supreme Court noms? Remember two in a row found in men's rest room pulling a Larry Craig? Yeah we need more investigations involving more people of all races and creeds. We like to keep things on the up and up. Say, this is not the first time the feds have gone after a Maryland pol is it? Yeah, now I remember...Marvin Mandel spent some time in a Florida fed pokey. Yeah Spiro Agnew another governor. Say he was vice president of the United States! Yeah got out of jail time with a plea bargain and then about screaming he was not guilty and wrote that awful book about the Canfield Decision. Yep, even a black man has to step forward and accept that he may be investigated not because of the content of his racial makeup but by the content of his character which may be found wanting.

It's not a racial issue here. Why do blacks continue to use the race card? Which is why I'm not voting for Obama.

He has been a real source of stability in the Senate over the years. My prayers are with my brother and his beloved wife Sadie.

It seems a little weird that a senator would be a subject for an investigation. It looks as though the law is accusing him of a crime. To get to the stark logic of this debacle, no senator with high standing would stoop so low as to risk losing everything. A person living on the streets and with nothing to lose may do stuff but not somebody with a family and a good career.

Let me remind you a Mayor named Marion Barry -- you know the coke snorting, crack smoking, give you the finger in public, garden implement chasing public official in Washington DC. Then there's the mayor in Detroit, and there was another public official who left large amounts of cash in the refrigerator down in Louisiana. Oh I think there are plenty of public officials that will do whatever they think they can get away with.
