Is this the same homeland security they failed Katrina, and then failed again in second storm that hit New Jersey, people are still living up there with bare minimal housing if you call that, really parts are still like a third world.

They will become the gestapo

About three or so years after the firearm ruse confiscation has taken effect you will see the bankrupt American government do the same thing that Argentina and other failed socialist systems have done-----confiscation of all retirement plans such as 401(K)'s, IRAs and everything else. The reasoning is why should you get more than others just because you have worked all your life? But first the new minority, those that actually produce, have to be rendered incapable of resisting the new order.

The George W. Bush administration consolidated many of these activities under the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), a new cabinet department established as a result of the Homeland Security Act of 2002.
Homeland security is coordinated at the White House by the Homeland Security Council

if there are some of you who believe that the government intends to come and take your guns, i would like it very much if you would explain how they are physically going to do this. and don't give me the "they did it in england" story...this country has more guns than any place in the world. give me a step by step scenario of how they would go about doing a nationwide gun confiscation. where will the manpower come from? who will be in charge of it? where will the guns go? who funds it? i can't wait to get this information. thanks.

How did the topic become guns here? HUMAN trafficking is an issue that needs to be resolved and addressed rather than changing the subject and turning a blind eye to the real topics here. This could be anyone being victimized in a moment of weakness. Your sister, your daughter, your son, your brother....not your agendas. Get a clue.

if you can't find fault, why ridicule?
Did you know you can correct wikipedia entries if you don't agree with them?

i was curious about the gun issue.
as to the human trafficking, it would be better for everyone to understand if they went into a bit more detail. what should we be looking for? how do we educate the kids? are there patterns? this is a short blurb that does not give us a lot to go on.

Taxation of ammunition and firearms, which big cities are already pursuing, will be one of the first steps. This has already started. Registration of semi automatic firearms of certain types, already done in states like Massachusetts, is another baby step in the overall process. Ammunition is already scarce and none of the above steps are even in place yet on a national basis. Just take a look at the overall trendline in New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Colorado, Chicago and other places and the future shouldn't be too hard to discern.

When I think of human trafficking I think of 53 foot trailers bringing illegals in to the Promised Land.

which leads to the conclusion that people are panicking over confiscation that has not begun, or even considered by congress?
