This is so sad, and makes such little sense. According to the article, the pond is a couple MILES off the road in a farm. I just can't see how with 3 girls (athletes no less) in their 20's that they couldn't get out of the vehicle some way or another. I mean, I can see panicking, but they had time to make 2 cell calls.... It will be interesting to see if they can figure out what happened. RIP

We experienced the same thing when my brother's son died. Sometimes people are just that way. We can't change it. This story is so sad. Three beautiful lives cut short when they should have had so much ahead of them. My sympathy to the family and friends of Kyrstin, Ashley and Afton.

The only opinion the families care about there kids are gone, now put your self in their shoes if you lost your kid you dont wanna read ignorant crap.Freedom of speech is a nice thing it allows us to trample on others feelings. If you don't want to know what the public thinks, don't go on a public forum. This isn't your person site, it is public with all opinions. If you can't handle other opinions, don't come here and read the comments. The same questions asked here are discussed among friends at work. I know because I was in a couple of those conversations today. Not one person felt it crossed a line. Everyone expressed the questions that were on their minds. It was only discussion. The same thing is going on here and if you wear your feelings on your sleeve, you will become emotional and forget this is a public forum. This is why America is a great country. Maybe you should start a thread debating what can't be said by citizens of a free country in a public forum. That would be interesting.
