We need more punishments that fit the crime. let the former owners starve until they reach the same level of malnutrition.

I know robert curry, and he was not at fault so whoever wrote this article and whoever is posting these comments, please go up to your second story window and open it, and jump onto a hard surface. you surf the web trying to spread the word about animal cruelty. go do something about it you are pathetic.
The horse found dead had an intestinal infection at birth and was going to die no matter what.
And the 8 that were starving were starving because the man they paid to feed the horses, skipped out on them.
So, go complain to the man who shouldve been feeding them.
Or, just shut up all together.

Ok, first about the dead horse... You do not partially bury a horse on your property. Oh that's right, it isn't his property!! He should have called valley protein to come get the horse. That's what I did when an old horse of mine died. Second, the article said he couldn't find enough hay. Sorry, in the Poolesville area there are plenty of hay farms, and all he had to do was ask other local owners where they got their hay. And if money was so bad, here's a wild thought, sell your horses!! It's all common sense crap. The person that was supposed to feed them skipped out? Hello, did Robert not go to see his own horses for a year? Sorry, not true. He had to have been there to see that the horses were skinny. He had to have seen that the place was falling down around him. He had to have known that his horses were getting loose.

Besides, as the admitted owner of all the horses (31 horses on 15 acres!! WAY too small for all those horses!!) he is legally responsible for their well being. And it's not like his horses were in PG county and he was here in Poolesville. He lives all of maybe 4 miles away! Go take care of your horses! And how did he have the money to pay someone to feed the horses when he said in the article that he didn't have money for enough hay? Let's try to keep our story straight, shall we?

So before you tell people to jump out their second story windows (perhaps you are the type to want to kill people, but I am not) try speaking with intelligence first. Thank you.

How do you know who owns the property? Sounds like you know a lot of the scoop and you are pretty emotional about it. What's your connection to all this? You are from DC and this happened in Poolesville. My advice to you - just try not to believe everything you read. We live in a democracy and people are innocent until proven guilty. When the trial happens, go attend and get first-hand knowledge of what happen. I am not condoning abusing animals in anyway, but you can't speculate what Mr. Curry “woulda-coulda-shoulda” done without having the facts.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
