I am strongly opposed to the closing of any CA state parks. I have been a volunteer at Pt. Sur for over ten years, and I am convinced of its importance as a historic treasure to remain accessible to visitors. We volunteers have worked tirelessly to restore and preserve this important site.
I approve the proposed vehicle license fee of $15.00. It is a small price to pay to preserve our parks. Closure of any parks, in my opinion, would just exacerbate the economic problems. The parks bring revenue to maintain themselves as well as revenue to adjacent businesses. Keep our Parks. Marianne Powers |
