the puppies they sell come from puppy mills, i have never posted on topix but figured this may be away to let people know the parents of those puppies live in filth, never let out of thier cages, never recieve vet care, fur so matted they are in pain yet the puppy mill owner continues to breed them until they get sick or can no longer be breed then they are often beat to death, shot, or dumped off on a back road, the parents of these puppies have never played in the yard, had a toy or recieved any love, please don't buy puppy mill puppies at the mall. you are contributing to animal abuse by keeping these puppy mills in bussiness.

I won't shop there, aside from the fact that the people that work there are incredibly snotty and don't give the animals a confortable mat or blanket to lay on- I won't go in there anymore. I have suggested to them that perhaps the animals would be more comfprtable standing on a more comfortable surface the manager there gave me a dirty look while informing me they are just fine the way they are- oh yes hunny i'm sure you would love to stand on a caged bottom above your waste all day...i'd like to see that actually. You can tell they buy from puppy mills that's how they end up with the same sad looking over bred kinds every week. NOPE SORRY I'D RATHER SUPPORT OUR LOCAL SHELTERS!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in complete agreement with the posts here. The conditions these puppies are in are terrible and it's clear they come from puppy mills. I spoke very candidly with one employee (who left soon after) and they told me that the puppies are often very sick, do not get adequate medical treatment, and in general are in bad shape.

I would love to see a concerted campaign to stop this store from selling puppies.

I think ALL pet stores that sell puppies and kittens should go out of business. But, obviously people still buy from them?? I think spreading the word is a good start - educate people about where these puppies really come from. Plus, we don't need breeding at all, there are enough animals out there that need homes that people don't need to be breeding any more.

98% of pet stores sell dogs from puppy mills. Please educate yourself on the horrors of puppy mills if you don't know about them. Pet Zone's "Promise" says they in no way support illegal kennels or those with a history of failing USDA standards and inspections. That's because puppy mills are legal and the standards are pathetic.
I am one of many fighting to end puppy mills. Please read about them...National Mill Dog Rescue is a great place to learn about this. Check their website or facebook page. Please, never buy a pet at a pet shop...check your local shelters or go to petfinder.com .

My husband and i were at the salmon run mall in watertown,i go in there all the time just to see the puppies, Well today i am on a rumpage,,First this girl was snotty and did not speak as we came in,,,she had a mean look on her face the whole time we were there,,
I did not go in to buy a dog as i have 3. As we were looking a puppy got out and was about to run into the mall,,,, She ran to get it and was very rough picking it up,,when she turned around she had this look of HATE on her face,
My husband asked to speak to a manager and the other girl there said there is not one,,

the dog tryed to get by her and she threw him again,,, We are animal lovers and would never think of hurting our dogs like that,,I was sick about it,,,i called the S,P.C,A and they said that i have to call the police and they check it out then call they call them. I work at the pet zone in albany and this is so far off. People are coming in to play with our dogs all day. Every time a dog is taken out we clean the cage completely pulling everything out and wiping everything down. And we regularly will wipe down the cages around every half hour. Our dogs see the vet every Thursday and most dogs are brushed daily. As far as the puppy mills it is illegal to sell puppy mill dogs. Our breeders are usda registered. Don't make assumptions, take the time to have an open mind. We all love our babies and would never want to give them anything but the greatest care we can.

Not true some friends bought a puppy there (sick) they followed back on the so called breeder filthy farm most puppy's there look bad. Don't believe the people telling there employees they don't buy from mills! they stopped payment on check and paid lots of vet biils, puppy doing much better.

I think we should get a group together and protest this store. They are nothing but liars!! I regret from buying there. They sold me a sick puppy and when I tried to return him. They ignored what I had to say and wouldn't let me. I took a look further into his history and he comes from a horrible puppy mill. I tried to explain that to the corporate office they just brushed it off and denied it. I would love to protest now so people will not holiday shop there. Message me and let me know if anyone wants to
