I went to wal-mart pharmacy the other day and had to wait for 2 hours for my prescription to be filled...that is crazy when you are sick and need meds. Anytime I try to get medicine filled they always make me wait forever. I hate Wal-Mart and do not plan to go back....gonna look for a new pharmacy!!!

Totally agree. Last week I put in my prescription and was told it would be 30 minutes. So I shopped for an hour, went to get the medicine and then they wanted to see my insurance card. Got that okayed and then they said it would be 40 minutes. I left the cart and walked out of the store.

I have had the same problems too. Also it is really hard to get anybody to wait on you. They act like it's a bother for them to answer a question.

I quit using wal-mart and switched all my stuff to Town & Country Pharmacy. They are so friendly and fast and they also have the same 4 dollar meds as wal-mart. Also their cash prices on non-4 dollar meds was cheaper than wal-mart. May be you should give them a try!

Sure their friendly, they don't fill 1000+ scripts a day. Hence the reason for being so "fast"

Sounds like to me Wl-Mrt is having to work too fast to do a good job. They gave my grandfather the wrong drug once. I have heard of them making similar mistakes before in the past. I wouldn't buy my neighbors dog's medicine there much less my family's.

My choice is the Town & Country Pharmacy. They are much friendlier and the pharmacist actually talks to you. At Wl-Mrt. the pharmacist never talks to you.

The wakmart in honolulu told me an hour. I come back 4 hours later and then they told me to wait another 15 minutes. Then they say they have to call my dr. to verify because apparently walmarts policy is to verify with the dr. if its an early fill. Shouldnt the dr. already know when he last gave it to me?duuhhhh...Never coming back to these idiots again!

It is inconsiderate jerks like you that think you are the most important person in the whole world that give this country a bad reputation. Why don't you wait your turn like most of the other people or go jump in a freaking lake you selfish peice of sh*t!!!!!

I suggest all you people who do not like Wal-Mart pharmacy just pack your prescriptions and get out. You should appreciate the low prices we give you. It's not our fault you silly red necks are always wanting something for nothing. Seems all of you are on drugs or make meth. So I say to you just pack up and take your scripts to somebody else.

Wow, seriously? Judgmental much?

Go to Town and Country Pharmacy. You wait forever at Walmart, you have to wait an extra 15 minutes if you want to talk to the Pharmacist, they have given the wrong medication to several people, and the girls that work in there can be doing absolutely nothing, yet make you wait 5 minutes just to drop your prescriptions off. The only friendly person I've encountered is the woman handing out the medicine...and I'm sure she gets griped at all the time a/b how long it takes, so you can't sit here and say it's bad service b/c they're rushed or stressed.

Town and Country Pharmacy has $4 medicine, and they're medicine is cheaper. I had a prescription at Walgreens for $35, and Town and Country gave it to me for $11. They take the time to know you, make sure you know of the risks of the medicine they give you, and always have a smile on their face. I wouldn't use any other pharmacy.

I tried to switch my prescriptions to Walmart Pharmacy. First I went to the Rockport TX store, but couldn't get waited on, and I was the only one in line! I turned to the online pharmacy as a solution. But when I tried to establish an account, I kept getting a window that asked for my Walmart pharmacy prescription number??? I tried calling customer service, and got an automated answering system that was a jungle. There was no option for online tech support, so I selected the online pharmacy option. I went through several option possibilities and finally resorted to selecting "speak with a representative." The rep answered "home delivery." She indicated she couldn't help me and I needed to contact tech support. The number she gave me was the same one I'd called originally. I gave up. Dealing with this outfit is not worth saving a few bucks.

My Family Physician recently relocated his practice to just off the entrance to the Walmart here. He is a great Family Doc. and most have waiting lists so I am lucky to have him. He wrote me two prescriptions to counter what I thought was strep throat but has morphed into something else. I thought I would try the pharmacy at Walmart as I was there. I dropped off the script, presented my EHB card and was told 15 to 20 minutes. There were 6 people behind the counter and nobody in line at 10:00 am when this happened. I went to do some shopping and came back with half a shopping cart full, 25 minutes later. I was third in line and there were still 6 people behind the counter but only one operating the cash register. After 20 minutes I was first in line and a great lumbering oaf, and her even more circumferential husband ambled into the vicinity of the line. I had noticed them before as they had dropped off a prescription when I first entered the pick-up line. The cashier gestured something to this corpulent beast who was, at the time leaning on an aisle display to the point of almost tipping it over. She started telling her husband, rather loudly and to the consternation of the now 12 people in line behind me, that she was "next". When the customer in front of me departed I went to the counter and the human tsunami waddled up beside me saying, "I'm next." I said, I'm sorry, but you're not next, I've been standing in this line for 25 minutes and you just got here 5 minutes ago. The cashier then attempted to serve her gluttoniousness and I told her that it was now 50 minutes since I was told it would be 15 to 20 max and that she could either produce the prescriptions or return my script to me but either way I was going to be served next. El Gordo and her husband harrumphed more but I ignored them. The prescription was not ready and the clerk apologized and retrieved my script. I thanked her and loudly stated that she need never worry about having to serve me again as I would never set foot in the door. I took my cart of groceries and left and said (the name of a Cee-Lo-Green song from this year's Grammys) to the two harrumphing planetoids orbiting me. As I went to pay for the groceries the 8 operating out of 25 cashier lines were lined up 10 deep. I pushed the cart to the cash supervisor's desk and suggested that the rate at which Walmart made money is directly dependent upon the rate at which it can be acquired in exchange for goods. I agree. All you silly hicks should just pack your prescriptions and get out. At Wal-Mart we don't want all you druggies and rednecks coming in regardless of what management advertises they really don't want your business. You should go to one of the local redneck pharmacies so you would be dealing with your own kind. Get Lost!!

The little pharmacies don't have the motorized carts so they gotta walk their fat asses to the counter, well some have the drive thru so they can stay in their beater cars so that's a plus.
