Terrible, cheaply made, easily broken frames. I had a good opthamologist exam though, but a very poor eyeglass exam (optometrist). These are the crappiest glasses I have worn in 40 years,so I do know what good exams are,and poor service!
I am taking my good insurance having, near-sighted self to Wal-Mart. I just HATE the glasses from Marion Eye Center.

Has anyboday tried Dr.Melton across from Town and Country. He does a great job and his frames are good and reasonably priced. He also stands behind his word.

i do agree that the place isn't the greatest, but i've had my glasses for about years and don't have a single problem with them! i actually get awesome compliments on them all the time.

i have had my glasses for over a year and have had no problems with them. the price was great and the service ok. you may have gotten a defective pair. did you ask about a warranty?

they always told me that if i had any problems, to come back and let them know. nice to say that i haven't...i tried the new place down by Watkins and did not like it...the people were wonderful, but i wasn't satisfied at all.

You can go to caseys and get "bad" gas once in awhile,,,,,doesn't mean you go around trashing caseys does it? Same goes with MEC, nothing or nobody is perfect, everytime. If you received a bad pair of glasses you should have went back and talk to them about it.

I did go back twice, and they were NOT helpful either time.First they swore I sat on my glasses-I didn't,they just broke as I was reading with them. Then they told me the frames couldn't be repaired,to superglue them or buy a new pair.
Glasses should last more than a year, and I paid good money for them,or my insurance did.
I should have known when they did my eyeglass exam after they dilated my eyes, that's never good.
Fool me once, shame on you-fool me twice, shame on me!

My experience was great... The Doctors or very nice and helpful, I don't understand if you have a problem with a car you go back to the dealer why not take your glasses back anytime I have had a problem the girls have always treated with respect and my problem was solved. The only problem I have is that the that let the manager go and she was very helpful, not sure about the new girl but there are still some of the older girls still there and they will treat you right.

I think the "workers" at MEC are all very nice and really want to help. But I will not go there or recommend anyone else to give them business. The owner Dr. Ahmad is anti-american and very very much against women rights.( and to all who think I'm just saying this because you think I am racist....NO thats not it!!!!) I think people should be aware as to whom they are giving thier money to.

Dr. Melton is sooooooo wonderful with kids and takes his time even if it puts him behind, he is by far the best.
