What happened the coach told him to get his head out of his ass and pay attention? Need to get yours out and listen to what everybody is saying, it is football and there will be cussing.
You need to get your head out of your ass. These are school kids,You might expect to hear cussing in college football or the big times. If these kids were caught cussing they would get in some kind of trouble. I wonder if this is the same coach that shoved a 5th grader like you would a grown man, the boy nearly fell he pushed him so far.

Okay, saying the coach cussed isn't working so now you are saying he assaults them.

Alumni wanting to coach need to get a college degree and a teaching certificate, then get a job at Dexter. Several years ago, the board decided against "emergency coaches" that is people who didn't work for Dexter Schools, but were only hired to coach. Glenn Eubanks was the last emergency coach that I can remember, that was years ago. With the liability issues that we face now in schools, it would be bad judgement on the part of the school board to allow alumni to coach at middle school or high school. If you have legit concerns about Hudson, stop posting on topix and call your local school board. They can do something about it. Hudson is not a local guy, so you can bet he won't stick around here. Find him a better job somewhere else, if you want him gone.

Dexter's varsity has really stepped up it's game over the past three weeks. The line has started blocking for the running backs. Defense has held up and showed them how you play dexter football. By the way how about Nick Hessling and Seth Mcbride? They are both having great years.

First off I never heard him cussing just stating my opinion on that, but I did see him push that 5th grader.

You saw a Dexter football coach push a 5th grader? I doubt it.

Are you kidding me with this??? Hudson would not push a child and why would he be around 5th graders anyway! He coaches middle school and teaches high school. You people need to get off the Hudson kick already, you are all just prejudice against anyone else coming into this town coaching unless they are Dexter Alumni!!! I don't see anyone alumni lining up to coach and if the parents think they can do better..., then by all means, get out on the field and do it and quit your bitching already! If you don't have the backbone to say anything to him personally then don't get on topix mouthing about him!

Hmmm, lets think about this one! If Hudson pushed a 5th grader like he would have a grown man, I'm thinking he WOULD have fell instead of nearly falling! Lets think things through before we post them, shall we? As I have already stated, he coaches middle school.....,where did this incident take place at exactly...,if you witnessed it???? Just curious!!!

If they would allow for Alumni to coach for one thing, then they would actually have some good coaching!!!!

As for right now, you can only Coach if you are a Teacher in the System...

As for the fifth grader bit, Hudson is not the one I believe they are talking about, I believe they are talking about one of the Rec Coaches....

I dont have a damn problem in the world with saying anything to him personally, just cant catch him out and about to say anything.

There are allot of Football Fans and Alumni in this area, the school system should realize that the Alumni Association can do allot when it comes to donations and helping with the football program at their school, but, I guess thats another thing they dont allow for....

Peace...

D Dad, I think it's been covered that the school district will not allow non-faculty members to coach and all the bitching about it on here is not going to change that. If you really feel that passionately about it coaching please go and get your degree, apply for a position in the district, and coach your heart out. I'm sure you would do a good job if you really are as gung ho as you appear to be on this thread. If you have chosen another lot in life and feel that it's too late for you to do it then I'm sorry but nothing is going to change. Perhaps you should have been this passionate in your youth.

We have an alumni association called the Dexter Booster Club who does a lot for everything at school, not just football. Maybe you can run for the school board and get your way, but I agree with guest, no use complaining on topix, the people in charge of school won't be on hear reading this junk.

Dexter played an extremely good Arkansas HS team, they were no joke and probably could have walked all over anybody in SE Missouri. They had some of the best plays and they were executed as if they were professional players...
I would not down the BearCats, they had a tough night...
The QB needs to learn to stick in the pocket a little longer, when he scrambles, he really hurts himself...I think that if he is going to scramble, he needs an offensive line that can move with him. The running backs from the Arkansas team were fast as lightning, I would have to say that most of the starters are probably track stars also...
We should have our football players seriously working on speed...As much as weight-lifting helps with strength, speed can really make or break an opposing team....
There is allot of work needing to be done and I think it should start at the Rec. Football level, stop playing half-assed football and start playing full out ball...
They need to seriously get rid of the 8th Grade coaches, they suck!!! and bring 7th graders up to middle school football...
The sooner we make changes to our lower levels and the way they play, the sooner you'll start seeing some consistent football being played...
Looks like the team may be short one guy.

You guys are just trying to find something to complain about.
Get a life.
Dexter is doing rather good this year.
And as far as Coach Hudson.
He was my track coach last year because our main coach was about to have a baby and was gone most of the time and he is also our American Government teacher.
He is a great person.
And him pushing a fifth grader and cussing out is just a stupid rumor that stupid people like you just wanna talk about about because you have nothing else to do with your worthless lives.
So, make sure that you really know the facts before you guys start talking about something like this over the internet.

The only place I know of that has this stupid ass rule is Dexter....Unless, I am missing something...Because I donot see it anywhere in the State Laws...

I think that some people are just blind to their surroundings and that they are affraid that if the rules change, the political bullshit that allot of people have condoned over the years to protect certain kids playing sports, will come to an end....

Just get off the high horses people and allow for some Alumni to take some of the Coaching slots out there and let them show what we have been missing....

What alumni would you suggest fill some of the coaching slots? Name 3 or 4. I'm not saying that some of our current coaches shouldn't be replaced but who are you suggesting? I sincerely hope you aren't suggesting any of the park and rec coaches. Most of them are clueless and the one's that have a clue are mentally unstable.
