Really how long will it last with no sexual contact? I would say not long!

I say that to many people base their relationship on sex. I for one was married to a woman who thought that sex was the most important thing in a relationship. Let me tell ya this. If that's how things are based then when the sex fades, so does the relationship. Companionship first! See if you get along without sex, otherwise it's doomed from the start! Just my opinion!

Hell no it won't last long. Is it possible for a man and a woman to just be friends after they had sex in the past? Hell no. Speaking from a mans point of view, being with a woman sexually then trying to just be friends never works without the subject coming up a lot. It has happened to me recently and it sucks! We were on like clock work and then something happened and now we are just friends with no benefits. Oh well, lots of little fishies in the sea.

I agree with that sooooo much Truth. The way I try to look at it is, anyone I'm having a relationship like that with, is hopefully the person I'm going to be with when I'm seventy-five. Am I going to be staring at their hot body when I'm seventy-five? Am I going to be trying to bang them all the time when I'm seventy-five? No, I'm going to want a best friend to go through my last days with. Therefore, all of the people that are just like "Yo you're pretty hot, let's get married" are going to be severely disappointed.

We got married when I was 22, got together right out of high school at 18. I have to admit I didn't mind all the "ups and downs" back then, but after 6 years of 12 hour days, and every other Saturday working, just didn't have the energy to do it every night! Once I started telling her no 2 or 3 times a week she decided that I didn't love her, nor could I satisfy her anymore, so she went out and found some on the side, now 4 years later, here I am on Topix with my lesson learned! I listened to the same advice from other people before, but sometimes it's hard to take.

im great friends with someone ive slept with he's also really good friends with my man too, it seems like it never happend but then again it was like 10 years ago!!

Has the thought ever occurred to all of you that if one spouse refuses to satisfy the other, then it is a sign that the spouse refusing to satisfy the other is cheating? Gives you something to think about doesn't it?

Yes, I have a wonderful marriage and as time has gone by we have replace some activities with other.

what if for some medical reason one of you couldn't perform .would you leave that person because of sex .if so you didn't love them .sex doesn't make a marriage .

couldnt agree more. a girl dont have to do the act with a man these days with all the great fake dinks out there!

Even if a man can't "rise to the occasion" he can still fine other way's to please his women!
