For the past 17 presidential elections, the Washington DC Redskins have predicted the outcome with their game played previous to the election. When the Redskins WIN, the party with current White House control remains in the White House. When the Redskins LOSE, the opposition party takes control.
So to break it down, Skins win = McCain/Palin...Skins lose = Obama/Biden

As of right now the Vegas spread shows Skins are favored by 2.5 points. I guess Vegas likes McCain in a squeeker.

Vegas odss right now are Obama 1-10 & McCain 5-1. Doesn't look good for McCain.

I will be overjoyed when this election cycle is OVER. I decided to vote last week for Obama strictly because I was SO annoyed about McCain's robo calls.

Not True according to snopes.com They were wrong in 2004.

The Washington Redskins theory: This old superstition goes like this: If the Redskins win their last home game before the election, the incumbent party stays in power. If they lose, the incumbent party gets the boot.

It may be a random pattern, but it's one that's held mostly true since the Franklin Roosevelt era, according to Snopes.com , the rumor-debunking Web site. The streak was blown in 2004, when Bush was re-elected despite a Redskins home loss on Oct. 31 of that year.

Yes then we will have our new muslim president and he can start the process of removing God from our country. People we better stand up now for what is right. Scripture does say in the last days many will be deceived.

You really believe that Obama's Muslim after all that has been said. Gesh, some folks are really really thick. Scripture says a lot of things. Like Judge not others least thine own self be judged. I think millions of Americans will stand up today for a better America. The last 8 years of the GOP have brought nothing but ruin. Bush has to hide in the White House while his own party denounces him. So...that is the way it is in the real world.

That is not a good reason to cast a ballot. People should not be voting over things as petty as that. Please think about the future before you cast a ballot. That is a terrible reason to put Obama in office, not that there is a good one.
