People fight for ur jobs !!!!. If u all would band together and pickit this place and show them that ur not going to lay down and while walk all over u. United u stand and divided u fall. Just think about it. We all have a lot to lose out of this.
Will not help; only if people quit buying the Ford, Mercedes, Chrysler, and Harley Davidson products, which isn't going to happen, and demand US production would it help.

The U.S. UAW could have put their feet down on Ford and GM production not leaving the country, as could Harley. Chrysler is owned by Mercedes.

So, picket all you want, it will just speed up the happy romp out of the country by Faurecia.

Yea thats obvious! lol... ur the one telling people to walk out and picket that plant. so ur not all that smart. first of all it wouldnt do any good to walk out and picket the outcome will be the same. second the people that did walk out wouldnt just be hurting themselves if that was the case nobody would care but it would be hurting the other nonlazyasspeople that just want to work and make as much money as they can for the time they got left.

Hey Travis, you should really consider typing your messages in Word so you can spell check them first. It doesn't make sense to call someone stupid if you can't put together a clear sentence. By the way, it sounds to me like you've been fired from Faurecia. I've been there for about ten years and I've seen idiots like you come and go, but I've never seen one who just can't let it go. I have done some checking and I heard you weren't real quality conscious. That's the real problem with that place. The people who are so worried about getting done early and being faster than the next guy, when they're really just sending bad parts. That little 1.6 million figure isn't anything when you figure in the extra third-party inspecting, audits, and damage to the company's reputation. Those "know-it-alls" are the ones who really cost the company, not the "old timers".

Really ?? lol, is that all you could come up with... What about the quality control inspector at the end of the line.. Its their job to check quality, it was my job to load a machine.. If i load the machine wrong it wont weld or operate because of safety measures. This list goes on.. With that being said, just what quality was "I" in control of ?? Its an idiot proof system.. If quality was poor we would have a trash bin full, on and on.... Nice try though..

I have a full time job that offers no health insurance. Obamacare has done nothing for me. I have to pay $8,000 per year for my health insurance.....just for myself, no kids or spouse included. I have no major health problems. I have shopped around and this is the cheapest I could find anywhere. After paying for healthcare, I have little left for a house payment, groceries, vehicle, etc. The problem with healthcare and insurane is that it is too expensive for a normal person to afford. Obamacare didn't address that.

I think on another note that you must place some responsibility on the French owners.

How much blood have Mexican nationals spent defending their soil from German dominance. How many of the owner's grandfathers and great grandfathers were given freedom by American blood.

Just another thought.

I see the doors closing to an end... former-worker..

Hundreds of jobs gone to Mexico. Non Union up here. Step 1- get rid of union Step 2- ship the work to Mexico. Then figure out they can not make a good part to save their ass down there. We never were or will be union, but the future does not look any better here. No Faurecia in the US in a few years anybody?

Bobby Ward is not a jerk. Do you have any idea what that man has to deal with? Because you cant have your way. Bobby also has rules to abide by. And the union stops him in his tracks most of the time. He cant just fire the ones that need to be fired because the union protects the damn dead beats. Learn your facts before you start throwing imature comments around.

It is hilarious to me that they consider Mexico a part of North America. Yes, it is attached to North America. But at a time like this he should have been honest on the news and said they were going to Mexico. But when we had the meetings at work they DID tell us that the lines were going to Mexico. Either way its going to happen. You can't stop it. Just work all the hours you can, save all the money you can.

you are exactly right. how ironic it is that our ancestors saved their ancestors from hitler and in return they move american jobs to mexico. faurecia might not even exist if it wasnt for americans driving evil out of their country. hitler ruined ppls lives and so is faurecia years later. your welcome faurecia and thank you so much. and special thanks to our own government for being ignorant and allowing it to happen.

in another twist, americans wiped out 2 japanese cities out in an act of war which ended the war and in return they create jobs in the u.s. years later.... go figure
