Are you looking for a photgrapher in Dexter, or in this area? There is a man in Sikeston named Scott something that does weddings. There is also Sarah Kingree in poplar Bluff. hope this helps.

If you are looking for a photographer from Southeast MO., you might try Scott McCord Photography ... he is from Bloomfield, MO and does an excellent job. He is also pretty reasonable on his prices too. Look him up at www.scottmccordphoto.com I graduated from high school with him also and he is a great guy.

I have done some research and am leaning toward using Sarah Kingree or Scott McCord. Has anyone used either one of them personally and had any luck with them?

Of course, for the very well off, nothing but Joe Craig of Dexter will do. He is a pro,and has several photographers on staff. I will say this, they can make anyone look good.

I have used Sarah Kingree in the past and have seen Scott McCord's work. Their work is somewhat similar in having a different perspective and not just the traditional photography. In reference to price Sarah is probably a little more expensive than Scott. As far as professionalism you will probably have better luck with Scott, nothing personal towards Sarah's work, but she does work out of her home and she is a "stay at home mommy" I still suggest Scott McCord.

I used Scott for my wedding as did my sister and sister in law. He was GREAT. He was very professional, took AWESOME pictures, very reliable, and very reasonable. He came the day that we decorated and took shots to make sure that he could get everything that we wanted, came for the rehearsal also. I totally recommend him!

I haven't ever used Sarah or Scott, but I agree w/Margie From The Block...Joe Craig is the best there is...he might be higher on prices--not sure. He has been doing photograpy for many years all over the world! There is also a girl from Bloomfield named Stephanie Kinder(Swindell) that is very good also...unfortunately I don't have any contact info. for her. Hope this helps! Good Luck!:) I tryed to post Joe's phone #,but the sight won't let me.

Joe is terrific, but be ready to pay for his name and experience!! I've seen photos from ALL the photographers mentioned here, and have to say they're all good, if expense isn't an issue try to book Craig's however, if you'd like to have more money to spend on other wedding necessities go with one of the others. Also you might consider Vonda's from the Gideon area, she does wonderful work at reasonable prices.

I would not use Sarah Kingree for a wedding again if you paid me. She was 2 hours late for pictures and it took 3 months to get them back... Very unprofessional. She wouldn't even answer my calls. Then I ordered a large picture and she sent the wrong one. And expected me to pay for it,.... WAS NOT IMPRESSED,,,,, Do yourself a favor. Someone who is new but is really good out of poplar bluff is Kim Scott... Her website and info are www.kimscottphotography.com She is a lot cheaper that anyone else and is soooo nice and efficient. You would be happy with her.

Scott McCord took my wedding photos, and I was very pleased. Our family uses him for almost every event we want photographed. He is very easy to work with, and even gets candid pictures that are incredible. You can check out his photos at

Amy Ellinghouse has done a lot of work for my family and does inspirational work. Norman Swafford has "old school" style, blah.

I'll give you th scoop on a place that does fantastic invitations at a fraction of the cost of others. Carrie Tracy owns a place called BLOOM on Broadway in Cape. You can go in pick different designs or colors and she'll do "proofs" for you to choose from. Plus she has a wonderful personality. He husband is running for state rep. Clint Tracey. Do check it out. You'll be glad that you paid her a visit. Carrie Perez is a photograher next door. She does a wonderful job but may be a little pricey for some families. Her website is Photography by Carrie. Still, you do need to stop by BLOOM. You'll love their prices. Wendy Ray has a shop in downtown Cape for fresh flower ideas. She's helpful too.
