Gosh don't use Peggy's Daycare on Vine Street... she's a real bi*ch. she doesn't treat the kids very well. Went to pick up mine one day and my 5 year old girl had been crying all afternoon; her face was so red and puffy! She hardly ever cries. Peggy complained the boy had peed in her floor and said to put pull ups on him because she could get shut down if they knew one had peed in her floor!! I told her it was a day care for crying out loud it happens...actually I think she is just to lazy to take them to the potty. I really don't think it's a very good place for your kids.

Diane's daycare in Dexter. Check her out through the Chamber of Commerce. She has cared for children for years!

Peggy's is not a bad daycare. Your probably mad because she got rid of you cause you didn't pay your bill. Matter of fact most of the daycares in this town are pretty good, ran by some pretty good girls. It takes alot to do what they do all day long. I have one little boy, and thats enough. How they do what they do every day, i just dont know.

Thanks for your suggestions. What do you all know of Candyland? Is Dexter Early Development still in business, bc the number there doesn't work.

Candyland is Ok, over priced though!! I just dont see how anyone can afford,$75-$100 week for daycare. I do understand you have to do, what you have to do...Dexter Early Development, has had some problems with management lately. Dont know if they are up & running, but probably are. Good Luck!

Why do you think they are having problems, because they treat the kids like crap! I have never seen a daycare like Dexter Early Developement Center! They need to be shut down for good!

Tonya Jenkins has the best daycare by far ! The kids she keeps learn alot from her. My kids loved it there. She keeps it fun for the kids ! She treats them all equal ! For example , if one sleeps on the floor with a sleeping mat they all do. none of this favorite stuff. People it's hard 2 get ur child 2 get into her but trust me it's worth the wait!

My daughter went to circle of friends for a short time. I want impressed. They were okay and always polite to me, etc. I didn't like how they hardly ever went outside. And when she went in the mornings for breakfast they always made her use hand sanitizer after I asked them to just let her wash her hands. She has eczema and the sanitizer dried her poor hands out even worse. Hand sanitizer is for when soap and water isn't available.

Dexter Early Development Center is awesome! They had some issues with management but this has been resolved and they are back to the same crew and things are running great!

Do not use MIMI's, they're turnover is on a weekly basis, and they all smoke. All of the workers smell like an ashtray and the poor kids end up smelling like it too.

Thanks for al the input. I'm convinced that Dexter doesn't have any places I'd want to entrust the care of my child.
