You know, I know there is a freedom of speech here, but my mother lives in that town, I grew up in that town, and many of my friends and family live in that town. You are talking about a town that may not be livable anymore. What is going to happen to the people? How do they plan to deal with this in the next couple days. I was reading on Houston News where they are saying that the sinkhole is actually going to be bigger that that Salt Dome and the Salt Dome in and of its self is pretty wide.
So I would ask you to consider the people greatly affected by this. I love Tx. After all I have lived here all my life.

Belated glad you caught a couple hours of Zs. Had a good weekend. Went to the Asheville Mall on Saturday and people watched to pass time, on Sunday, layed in bed dozed on and off watching the boob-tube. I lead a very exciting life in my mid-years. Or is this my last years? LOL

I thought it was supposed to be a play-on-words, not an insult against Texas. The sinkhole is in Texas and it is sucking things down? Sheesh.

I presume your a boy because I've never seen a girl that couldn't spell. Did you attend school or are you still in it? If you are, it's not working but then where you're from, it's amazing you can operate a computer. Pisst. Great choice of (misspelled) words. You spell like pisst. Are you a bleeding heart liberal? That would explain your disgusting and pathetic attempt at communication. You must be an Obama boy. Please stay in NC. We wouldn't have you.

Hey, Lynn Fregia is building a brand new home 200 yards from this sinkhole. He has also opened up a new Hardware and Auto parts store that is 200 yards from this sinkhole and built a new Helicopter Landing pad in town. Daisetta is really growing now. We aint skeered down here in this part of Texas, so don't MESS WITH TEXAS.

You children should read your history books. Sour Lake was once a booming oil town and health resort. There were other towns like it back in the early 1900's like White Sulphur Springs, LA. These were bustling places with hotels, saloons, boarding houses, etc.
I lived in Sour Lake as a child along with the rest of my family. I had a wonderful time playing outside climbing trees and riding horses. It had the most fabulous public swimming pool, as well.
Well, you turkeys find something else to make fun of, because you know you're going to, you must be bored out of your minds to even care to respond to this blog about this little town. At least I'm old. I really don't have a whole lot else to do. Get a life!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Taurus

Someone is very short-tempered, and they're liable to fly off the handle at a moment's notice. Maybe they're feeling vulnerable in some way or are desperately trying to defend what they see as their territory. Be sensitive to this and don't goad them into being even more irritable or upset than they are already. Frankly, it's just not worth it.
