My husband paycheck has been returned also. We are now negative over a thousand dollars in our checking account and when he gets paid this friday by a different payroll company all its going to do is get us out of the negative. How will I buy grocerys this week for my 2 kids and 5 dogs???

It is the employer, not the payroll company that is ultimately responsible for taking care of the employees. If the employer is not rushing to take care of it's employees, your husband needs to look for a different employer.

I'm sorry if the boss got ripped off by AES. The boss needs to make the employees whole today.

I agree with you Bert. The employer is RESPONSIBLE for making payroll-period! The payroll company is providing a service to your employer-not paying your husband

Bert & Tom,

You are so wrong. AES is a PEO and are in a legal contract with their client's called co-employement. This means that the PEO is responsible for the payment to the co-employee's regardless of payment from the client company. Thanks for playing.

None of this would not have happened if they had a decent time management system in place, one that would prevent payroll fraud of this type from ever happening again.
