People are so insensitive. Not only has the child lost a mother years past, but now a father whos sitting in jail right now. There is nothing saying that just because they got divorced it had to be him who killed Kim. Theres a family on both sides. Obviously some people will be happy someone is arrested and can put some blame on someone, but now its another wind of hurt for his family. Just imagine what the rest of his kids and now-wife will always have to carry around with them, its not right. the case was closed a while ago for a reason, not enough evidence. why reopen it? and reopen all the hurt its going to cause people? just my opinion.

I completely agree. I am Todd's cousin. I'll never believe it and I feel the blame is just trying to be put on someone. Thank you for your kind comment. This isn't easy for anyone in the family

They must have something on him. You can't ignore the girls murder just because it was a closed case, she was still murdered! If he's innocent then he'll be proven that. Whats wrong with you people? If he's innocent then I hope he gets set free.

#5 Nov 18, 2009'll be a witness in the case I take it, since you seem to be so very certain that this man is guilty? Otherwise, I'm sure you would ascribe to the tenet that people in this country are "innocent until proven otherwise." Or maybe you and God have a direct line to each other, and you are somehow so very important that your opinion supercedes the judicial system's outcome? Ridiculous.

Oh yeah...and have you ever the heard the expression that a grand jury can "indict a canned ham?"
Maybe you should do some more research on what it takes for a grand jury to indict a person--no defense attys present, no judge, just the prosecutor telling the jurors what to do. Archaic and ludicrous is the grand jury system.

You bet he did it. NOT JUST MY OPINION! Kim has been dead a long time and not able to be with her son she adored. He has been free and alive! We pay for what we do eventually.

Cpenn who are you? What makes you think you know this? This has never been easy on him or anyone losing her. Take it from a relative. You should not assume things you don't know for a fact. Maybe you did it, maybe joe down the road did it. YOU DON'T KNOW

cpenn and kiki--you sound just like the ignorant people who are often interviewed on television after a catastrophe. You hear one tidbit, deem it "true," and espouse your opinions as though they are facts. Sickening. Absolutely sickening. Wait until the trial is over before you jump to your little small-town-minded conclusions. Were you there when Kim died? THEN HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO DID IT? Oh, maybe you are God talking on this forum...who knew God was so tech savvy? And by the way, from what I hear, her son's stepmom adopted him and loves him dearly. His life hasn't been all that awful. He, like his father, wants to see this thing ended once and for all.

Murder cases are NEVER closed until they are solved. Cold cases get reopened for a reason. The prosecutor found the new evidence sufficient. Right or wrong, it will be tried in court, regardless of your opinion, or ours.

The little boy was student in my summer camp class. I'll never forget this. Bless his heart.
