Navarre is a somewhat sleepy community with it's own beaches, halfway between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach. Destin will be much more crowded from spring to fall. Car Insurance is higher than alot of states. Jobs are hard to come by and seem to be in the 8.50-11.00 range for anybody who may not have a trade specialty. New brick homes seem to have home insurance at a real reasonable rate. Anything not up to the latest code or near water may have you paying double and triple that rate. You can get a home built in the Navarre area by non-custom builder for less than 100 a square foot. Hope this helps some.
