Cristian Mallory was selected as the 2008 Tx. Today's Girl Humanatarian Winner at the 2008 Texas Today's Girl Pageant for her outstanding community service efforts. Cristian Mallory is a 7 year old who resides in Cleburne, Texas. Cristian accumulated 1661 hours of community service this past year. She has already been awarded the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Presidential Pins and Award Certificates from the President of the United States. It takes 4000 hours to win a Lifetime Presidential Pin and Cristian is already over half way there! Cristian collected and donated 293 stuffed animals for Cook Children's Hospital this past year. She also collected & donated 250 Teddy Bears For Trooper's, and won the Teddy Bear Girl of the Year Award. Cristian has been entertaining at the Town Hall Nursing and Convelescant Home in Keene for 3 years. She also spends time visiting the residents of the nursing home there. She hosts collection drives for personal items for a Homeless Mission in Fort Worth. She stays very active in her community riding in local parades. Cristian also supports the Troopers Who Care canned food drive for Johnson County. Cristian was chosen as the 2008 Tx. Today's Girl Humanatarian Winner because of her superior involvement in community service and being interviewed by a panel of judges about her community service. Cristian is proud to be the Humanatarian Spokesperson of 2008 for Today's Girl in Texas. Cristian has competed in Youth Developement Scholarship pageants since she was 2 1/2 months old winning her first title in Cleburne, Texas in 2001. Cristian is an exemplerary student in Joshua with all A's and all E's this past school year. Cristian was awarded the 2008 Today's Girl Academic Acheivement Award in the 7 to 9 year old age division at both state and nationals this year. She would like to invite you to join Today's Girl in their Cleburne Area Pageant on 12:30pm on Oct. 18th, 2008 at the Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church. Girls 0 to 18 years old are eligible to compete at this preliminary and advance onto the state and national level of competition. Today's Girl is a very community service oriented pageant. Cristian will be hosting a Teddy Bears For Troopers collection drive, along with a Personal Item collection drive for the Homeless during registration at the pageant. Teddy Bears for Trooper's must be 12 inches or larger, NEW with tags on. Personal Items to be donated for the Homeless Mission are: soaps, shampoos conditioners, lotions, toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, brushes, deodorant and may be personal, trial, or full size. Registration begins at 12:30pm and the Pageant begins at 1:30pm. Door Charge: Adult:$3 Child 12 and under:$2 per person, or a donation of the items as listed above per admission. The contestants will be competing in Interview, casual wear, party dress/evening gown, competition including talent for ages 7 & up. Also offered will be optional events: Photogenic, Overall Portfolio, Dream Girl, Overall Dream Girl, Best Casual Wear, Best Party Dress/Eve. gown, and optional talent ages 0 to 6years. Custom crowns, monogrammed banners, trophies, and prizes will be awarded. If you would like to join Cristian and become a Today's Terri@ [email protected] for an entry form. Last chance toenter the Cleburne Area Today's Girl Pageant on Oct. 18th, 2008..the deadline is approaching now. Email Terri at [email protected] for an entry form. We invite you to come and watch the pageant this Saturday. Cristian is collecting Teddy Bears for Troopers, individually wrapped Candy Cane's and small gifts to go in Christmas stockings that Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church is taking to children at a mission in Saltillo, Mexico, and personal hygeine items for Beautiful Feet Homeless Mission in For Worth. The pageant starts around 2 to 2:30pm after the interview competition. The door charge is $3 for adults or $2 for children under 12 or free door charge admission for donations listed above. Thanks,
