No, it's a symbol of love and kindness. Mary is seen by Catholics as a Mother for the Motherless, hope for the hopeless. And like all good mothers, she guides her children and gives them hope. Life can be hard, intensely cruel and unfair, but by taking refuge in her, people can endure and make their lives better.

San Secondo d'Asti Catholic Church in Guasti (Ontario) is also a cool little church. South of the 10 FWY between Haven and Archibald, its totally worth visiting.

Religion is always a good thing but things will become bad when one religion critizes another religion. These are beliefs not team sports. Uncle Vito, you udually provide witty wisdom, don't become stupid now.

Vito: has anyone on this post critisized your religion? What is wrong with you? Each and every one of us has the choice of which religion to be. No need to put people down. WE are all god's children. Follow the Chistian ways.

gimme a break: i believe in freedom of speech, but why call anyone stupid. Do you know any of these Catholics? Doubt it. Just because your an atheist does not give you the right to judge people.

That's great for you. So glad you are happy to not have any beliefs.

But WHY critisize the ones that do? Last time I checked this is a FREE Country and there is no need to put people down for what they believe.

too bad people waste years off their lives seeking religious redemption, and believing their ,,brand of worship, will earn them a spot in their version of heaven, whos going to heave or hell,,,,whos dealing with reality,,not one single person has been to either and came back to report,,what about all those that died before modern religion,,,where did they go? all you religious fanatics better wake up and stop reading fairy tales ,and waiting for some old man to part the sea,or jonah to emerge from the guts of a whale, even disneyland has its tangable proof .wheres yours?maybe ill do a visit ,just to see how gullible people are, maybe sell a few tickets to the promised land or something dumb ,like that.

ps stop praying to statues and burnt toast that resembles another person,i may have been raised as a catholic, but i grew up,and no longer believe in fantasy,or anything else that cant be proven,,,theres only one guy in the bible i really respect ,and thats thomas the doubter, and after a couple of thusand years and translation into english, and interpetation,he may not have existed either, even ,if he were real theres no thomas es in the middle east,,then theres the white man who has miraculously changed jesus and his whole family ,to white, maybe its a miracle that people white as a ghost live in the deserts of the middle east.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Aquarius

You're eager to have a good time, and nothing less will do; you'll soon put your work to one side and start to enjoy yourself instead. If you're going to a social event that you've been looking forward to for ages, try to keep a firm grip on your expectations in case reality falls far short of them. Be especially realistic if you've got high hopes of love and romance.
