I'm assuming the city council knows what the name of the place means. Why don't they just call it the Cannabis Cantina and be done with it?

Probably because of the out of control fights (shooting and stabbings) that occur on a regular basis every Friday and Saturday... That's why the bars usually get shut down....

Just run them out of Business that what Government does best. Look at Upland Fire Dept they closed a fire station brough in a private ambulance to service the County an put the other private company using Tax Payers money out of business. Upland Ciy Council was offered a seet heart heat to settle with the County over Flood Control . They all ready spent 800,000 dollars of your money and know they are going to have to pay more. It clear the City of Upland does not know how to do business.

Halkshaw, as usual your posting is full of inacuratr information. What fire station did Upland Close? What private company did they put out of business? Dude, you need a new hobby, spreading mistruths under an alias is pretty lame.

...and there should be a comma after 'age' for proper pronunciation.

I agree with WOW. Where are the facts. Where are they located? Why were they shut down? Who owns this place? How long have they been in business? How often are the police called?

Uh, you mean punctuation....Pronunciation is how you say a word or name.
