Hey! Rinella only care about what in it for him. He doesn’t do any police work at all. He doesn't supervise anybody because he's not there the times his radar officers are. Whats that all about? He does nothing! Yet he gets the most no work responsibility a car $95k and his own hours. Put this guy back on a shift a see how worthless he is. I want to know how long it is before this get taken care of? Now we all have to rotate and he gets to stay on his made up shift. There is no control in this place no wonder we cant solve a murder or a crime. This needs to stop!!!!!

Unfortunately, Most of this blogging is all too true.
There is no suspect(s) or leads in a murder of a former police officer Sgt Ron Susek.
The crime scene was contaminated after bungling by the first officer(s) and supervisor(s) on the scene.
After the M.E. discovered that the cause of death was different then first determined the Melrose Park Police investigator were confused on how to proceed.
The Melrose Park Police investigation unit is woefully under trained in homicide investigations.
The Melrose Park computer system is not up to date after the village accepted large grants for its upgrade. This puts the department sorely behind in modern police technology. We all understand you would like to hire friends but if they are incapable or uneducated to handle a major responsibility they need to go or be placed in another department.
The impression that the Melrose Park Police administration gives is that they just don't care about reforming the police department to the 21st century they believe that everything should just stay as is like we were in the 1920's.
With crime rates on the rise everywhere all police departments need more uniform officers on the street. They don't need to break the department up in pieces. This causes friction and dissension among the officers. Some specialty units are needed but some need to be abolished. It's time for the administration to unite the department not divide and conquer.
What unit(s) should be replaced is up to the administration they should make an educated decision even if it hurt some of their friend feeling. They have the community's safety in their hands and all resigned officers should understand that but even more the officers that are the recipients of such good fortune should realize that they are police officer and nothing lasts forever.
I hope things change soon.

Amending a tax violation is not that easy Whitey

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) takes the issue of unpaid taxes very seriously. Depending on the circumstances, penalties for unpaid taxes may include accumulating interest on the debt, liens and wage garnishment. In more severe cases, such as BLATANT refusal to pay taxes, a criminal investigation may be enforced. The IRS will work with most individuals who contact them to work out payment plans.

Hey! White Rabbit stay in your little hole. Hope your not advising Chuckie because you are so wrong.

Don't the majority of PD's rotate every 28 days?

Actually, most departments are going to more permanent shift schedules these days. The ill effects of the 28 day rotation have been recognized. If there is a rotating schedule, they will usually rotate every three to six months this way a persons body has time to adjust to the time changes.
The schedule slots are usually chosen by seniority (and no, not all the old timers take the day shift).

Yeah but in old Melrose Park officers not only get day shift they get cars to take home and make their own starting times plus a full time officer handling dog catching duties. Mr Duke does this happen in other towns? Please reply
