I'm supporting Tim Schneider...he's done a great job of fighting those red light cameras and took it to Stroger and his crazy sales tax

Gainer's busy running for mayor. She has a bad attendance record for meetings. She is a Daley appointee.

OMG....Don't vote for Tobolski he is one of the biggest crooks in Cook County. Check out this website and google search his name before you decide to vote for this slime.

Below is a good site to go and read about elections in Cook County and Illinois in 2010.

http://progressillinois.com/explore/tag/elect...

Thay have some very good 'reads' over there at their site.

Below are some quoted comments regarding PI,(Progress Illinois Site):

**********see below_********

“A must-bookmark that combines original reporting with muscular commentary on stories in the local media.”- Eric Zorn, Chicago Tribune columnist

“Extremely well-designed and extremely well-written. Get in the habit of checking it regularly.”- Nate Silver, FiveThirtyEight.com

“If you’re serious about Illinois public policy, PI is an essential source”- Harold Pollack, The American Prospect

“Every state should have one.”- Chris Hayes, The Nation

Vote Green Party.

I do not care if I win or not. People need to read up on the facts about how the Democrats and Republicans hog the political arena. Democratic does not mean monopoly of the electorate.

Check out Rich Whitney's plan for Illinois.

Commisioner Tim Schneider has done a great job. He deserves to be re-elected.

Silvestri is a farce. A true phony. Capparelli is more sincere and direct.

Schneider is, by far, the most independent voice on the Board

The current office holder (Silvestri)is a triple dipper with major conflicts of interests being in public office for 21+ years. The other challenger (Capparelli)is riding on Daddy's coat tails having been appointed to numerous boards without proper non-political credentials. In his own words as reported in the paper he didn't have the knowledge to do the job when appointed. This race represents why the two party system is messed up. Vote Green for real change.

They have the same friends. The Capparelli and Silvestri families are supporters of the Stevens family for Rosemont. It's all a sham. Either one will contine with the same policies. It's just about ego with either one. Vote for Brock Merck the third party candidate.
