Romney didn't know there was a recession. he doesn't know much at all

he could never have a lengthy discussion with Ron Paul. No neo-con could. but they are certainly going to have to face him

Twitty the cruel Bully cannot relate to normal people. The Bush depression was created by their overspending spree on unpaid for wars, tax cuts for the rich, and deregulating Wall Street which led to the big bomb. Twitt agrees with the Bush economic disaster. He said so. The GOP wants to drown our government in the bathtub. Norquist said so. This election IS choosing between democracy or gop fascism,(corporatism). Wise people will choose democracy. Vote Obama/Biden 2012! Your life DOES depend on it!

You're absolutely correct. But Ron Paul is the answer. Bill Clinton helped create the bubble as well enticing people into homes then lifting rates they couldn't afford.

Ron Paul 2012. Punish the neo-con coalition

"Let Detroit Go Bankrupt" in which Romney stated "If General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler get the bailout that their chief executives asked for yesterday, you can kiss the American automotive industry goodbye. It won’t go overnight, but its demise will be virtually guaranteed."

In December, 2008, when President Bush signed the initial auto bailout loan for GM and Chrysler, Romney said, "allowing the US auto industry to collapse is not a responsible course of action."

Mitt Romney's financial gain from Medicare fraud:

In 1989, Romney led Bain Capital's purchase of Damon Corp., a medical testing company, and took a seat on the Board of Directors to better manage it. During Romney's four years, Bain tripled its investment, and Romney personally made $473,000 -- while Damon plumped its profits with Medicare fraud (running thousands of medical tests doctors didn't want, and billing Medicare for them). The company pled guilty to crimes committed during his tenure and paid a record fine of $119 million. Company President Joseph Isola pleaded no contest to fraud, and a vice president was also convicted.

The democrats drunken spending spree caused it, nothing else.

Dems passed a minimum wage in 2007, and within 12 months job growth stopped and job losses started mounting. The Dems covered for Fannie Mae in 2005 when the issue of oversight in the loans they secured was raised; doing so enabled Fannie to gorge on sub-prime loans
The Dems fought for restrictions on drilling offshore and they attacked oil co CEOS; it gave OPEC the green light to jack up oil prices via restricting supply, knowing we would do nothing about it except attack our own Oil cos with exploration-restricting higher taxes!
The Dems signalled in 2007 that we would end the Bush tax cuts; That meant long-term investor sentiment would be worse; it meant a recession loomed and it was only a matter of time. This killed the bull market.
The Dems pushed for phony "check-in-the-mail" stimulus in Dec 2007 and rejected pro-growth agenda items.
The Dems increased spending rapidly in 2007 and 2008, overspending in every possible area and forcing Bush to veto multiple pork-filled bills; even despite the vetoes a huge number of earmarks and pork was passed. This gave the Fed less flexibility early on as they were worried about inflation and deficits.
The Dems wanted failure at home and abroad to stick around bush’s neck so they constantly ‘talked down’ the economy, to the point where in June 2008 Sen Schumer caused a run on IndyMac bank with his comments, and it forced FDIC takeover of the bank. In October 2008, Sen Reid made similar dangerous comments about the insurance companies.

Romney worked for 2 years at the Boston Consulting Group, and then got hired by Bain Consulting in 1977 where he became a vice president in 1978. He had success working with companies like Outboard Marine Corp., Burlington Industries, Monsanto, and Corning. In 1984, Romney started the venture capital firm Bain Capital, LLC

At Bain Capital, Romney helped start new companies and turned around failing ones. He was behind the start up of Staples. Starting with one store in 1986, Staples now is the world's largest office products company with $24 billion in sales in 2009. He also helped companies such as Sealy, Brookstone, The Sports Authority, and Domino's, resulting in the employment of over 125,000.

Nobama flip: I will close Gitmo
Nobama flop: Gitmo is still there
Nobama flip: I will get rid of Patriot Act
Nobama flop: Patriot extended twice by Obama.

As we've learned by now, rugby starting staples was just another lie. He turned down their loan 3 times. He was overruled by the more intelligent component of bain, caved, and reluctantly signed off on the loan. The 4th attempt. Now there's some mavericky business know-how. Other's thinking for him......again.
