I have too wondered what the difference between the programs were or if they do a lot of the same exercises. I am currently a member of FXB and have been there for over a year. I really like the program, but I can see where people get tired of doing the same thing. I will give FXB some credit for changing up some of the exercises and bumping up the nutrition part of the program.(something that they have recently changed- that I did not get to experience my first 10 weeks)

It's really all about who gets off their butt and goes and works out everyday- no matter where you go. It takes a lot to have that ambition. Eat clean, work hard, see results. Easier said than done, right?:) Good Luck peeps!

hey there I am a Kosoma member for the past 4 weeks. Great work out. Not enough kick boxing. some stuff seems to repetitive and not sure it helps your back at all. some instructors have no clue of the importance to protect your back. Not inviting for truly obeased people. lots of eye candy. which makes everyone work harder.

one big disapointment is when you join you pay 69 a month and they run so many group-on's half the class is always paying less than you are.
I was going to do Farrells but it said they would have two Kboxing a week. 4 weeks later it is always 1 boxing which is a big sad face for many
i stpped Omaha Kosama too

read your comments on Omaha Kosama I quick due to many people and only one K-Box it states one web site k-box twice a week it shows two on website but this group changes every week to one boxing.

I too got the 699 a year price and the place fills up with 30. Group on people. they told them to show up 5;30an 6:30 well that was my time. had to share bags orroate off bags

Some instrutors do cool down. some don't, this is how you pull muscles. they need more training on true work out techeques
It s a good work out. just not fair to say 2 boxing but never happened.
again to many trial folks

If anyone is interested in trying Kosama, Clive is the Original location and the program has went through many changes since it started. This is by far the best offer I have seen to date to try Kosama.

Kosama Clive...... 8weeks is only $49........ Grand prize is $500 cash.

Check out the Kosama Clive Facebook page for details.

I would point out that my original submission was done in 2010 and a lot has changed since then. At this point I would no longer endorse Farrell's in anyway way, shape or form based on their business practices. Also many of the benefits listed in my original post are no longer present.

I've been a very active person all my life. I swim, run, and enjoy martial arts (Judo, Jujitsu, and Tae Kwon Do). I've taken boot camps and 300 style programs. I have enjoyed all of which.
I think that any fitness program has the potential change someone's life. That is one of the things I appreciated about Farrell's. I started at Farrell's as a part of their ten week program, not realizing that it really would change my life, and you can continue on past the ten weeks if you like. I really like that when I was coming to the end of my ten weeks, they encouraged people to continue working on their fitness and health, even if it isn’t with Farrell’s. They genuinely care. They have nutrition seminars and assign coaches to work with you so you have a familiar someone to ask questions.
As for the commons about the becoming bored with a program confuses me. If you go to the gym and lift weights, you do the same task over and over again. This will give you results too. I ask, what is your primary goal for working out if it isn’t the results? That being said, I noticed at Farrell’s they stick to the same key routines for the first four weeks, and this is intentional. They want to make sure you have good form in order to get good results and prevent injury. Even while sticking to these routines, you get a good workout, and there is no intimidation, just learning and striving each and every day. Many fitness programs now a days, do not take injury prevention into account. With Farrell’s after the first so many weeks, the routines start varying up, and they can be a lot of fun.
Another impressive point about Farrell’s is that almost anyone can do it. There are very few limitations that would keep someone from being able to do Farrell’s. So if you are someone who’s extremely overweight and never been part of a regular fitness program you can do Farrell’s, and the fit people who have worked out regularly get an extremely good workout at the same time. There is no judgment, people encourage each other, and after ten weeks, you start to feel like the people around you are your Farrell’s family.
I became a coach and an instructor at Farrell’s because I believe in the program, and I highly recommend it. I am not familiar with KOSAMA, and if people enjoy it and it helps them great. It does sound similar to Farrell’s but without taking the program, I really can’t judge. I just thought I would throw in my 2-cents.

Business practices? Doesn't sound like something a student should know about. You were there for four years....and now stopped?
