Very unhappy that this smoke is so horrible in our valley. Our chickens are having difficulties and our cattle are restless. I can't believe that you burn in a severe drought such as we have right now and no wind to lift the smoke away after you're done. Sure hope we get a day or two break before you do it again !

Good grief, burning in the amidst of a drought? Why why why?

Driving back home early this evening, I popped over the plateau lookout on hwy 67 where the old concrete teepees used to be and saw smoke filling the ozarks as far i could see. First thought it was from the California fires, but looks as if we had some idiots to start a large fire and smoke us out.

Holy crap! Do you freaking retards even know how to read? This prescribed fire is going to be along the Glade Top Trail. That's between West Plains and Branson.

Winds don't carry smoke over that kind of distance to cause the kind of things you and the other retard are whining about. The smoke would have dispersed to non-detectable long before it reached this area.

Dumbass.

On the best of days on a flat plain, the maximum distance you can see would be around 3 miles due to the curvature of the earth. Whatever you saw from your "plateau lookout on hwy 67" was NOT from a prescribed burn over 100 miles away.

Dumbass.

And the original poster crying about their 'chickens having difficulties and their cattle being restless' trying to blame that nonsense on a fire that far away is full of shit.

Dumbass

Freaking retards need to go back to school and learn how to think.

For your information, winds do. Just Google it and find a lot of recent instances of smoke from forest fires causing huge area movements. Sometime blow across the nation.

As for curvature, I just commented on the view I had and I saw it was REALLY Smokey and it was.
