Taking back our town

Ok so everybody in Des Arc knows that we have a major drug problem going on here. That's whether it is Meth, Crack, Pot or the Illegal distribution and consumption of Pills. Everyone is always quick to point fingers at the Police claiming it's there responsibility to clear the town of this crap. Well that's half true and half false. It's their responsibility to charge the druggies for selling or being under the influence, it's the Prosecuting Attorney job of getting a conviction and the Judges responsibility to sentence them to jail, BUT they cannot do their jobs without us citizens!!!! We as parents, neighbors, friends have turned our backs on what's going on. We are foolish enough to think that our youngsters in town are not doing this crap. Wake up, Pills and Pot are so bad at the high school that if it was the flu they would call it a epidemic and would have to shut it down. They should drug test EVERY student and ANYONE who test positive should be immediately suspended then the second time should be expulsion!!! And it shouldnt matter who your family is or whether or not your a football player/ cheerleader or not!! We all have friends and family that are doing these things and we turn a blind eye to it and then have the nerve to blame the Police. Each of us saying that we don't want to get anyone in trouble or don't want to be a snitch. If it means saving your friend or families life don't you think that being a "snitch" or getting involved is warranted? We need to sit up a Neighborhood Watch Program to protect our community and when we go to the Police with videos of drug deals, times and information about what's going on then we can start stopping this crap and start getting it out of our town, if the Police don't want to help( but I think they will love the help) us then we go to the Mayor, then to the City Council. If none of that works then we stop re electing and start electing people that do want to make a difference. This is not a problem of just the poor " white trash" people, this is a problem with ALL the people, the rich, the poor, the black the white. LETS TAKE BACK OUR TOWN

How bout mentioning alcohol,,sugar, caffine or cigarettes oh I forgot there all legal there all addictive and not good for you but there legal and by the way if alcohol is legal then why in the hell isn't pot. Legalize it and tax it like alcohol. Come on people its a plant and if you just so happen to set it on fire there are some effects. And how bout that Operation Evil Eye was suppose to stop all the drug traffic in DA didn't do it did it. Its more worse than it was. The drug war is a losing battle. The government wants to cut spending than get rid of the DEA and the ATF its a waste of tax payers money and its not working.
