Sunday March 11th at 2:00 pm there will be a memorial service held in the Middle School Auditorium for Mrs. Stahl.

This is a chance for her co-workers, students, parents and the community to come together and say good bye, to grieve and to begin to heal.

Let us all join together to remember the great teacher, friend and mentor she was.

Mrs. Stahl taught our students with love, she instilled self confidence, she made them believe all things were possible and she was always encouraging.

She greeted everyone with her bright smile and from the outside she led us to believe all was right with the world. Unfortunately we now know her personal circumstances... which show even more her commitment to her students, her strength, her character and her love of teaching.

Let us join together on Sunday to show her our love!

It was a beautiful service!!! I was moved by the message that even when we question the bad things... we need to reach inside of us and find the good. Whether it be a smile, a word of encouragement, or lending a helping hand to others in need. Thank you to Derry School District, New Derry Church and everyone that put together such a beautiful service. Thank you for giving the kids a place to celebrate the life of their teacher. Whether the kids had her for class or just passed her in the hall they were touched by her kind heart and light spirit. RIP Mrs. Stahl... even in death you are still teaching the kids.

Middle School Parent too,

I agree.

It was a touching celebration of her life. The outpouring of love and sentiments that were spoken was very moving.

I sat with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes the entire time.

I am so very proud of our school, administrators and teachers for recognizing the need for such a service, making it happen and the beautiful was it was handled.

I was also very touched by the beautiful tribute that was paid to Mrs. Stahl in song by our students.

Tom Anderson's message was so very brave, heartfelt, direct and fitting.

I continue to pray for peace and comfort for the Anderson family and our school family.
