What gave the anyone the right to kidnap and kill another human being no matter what the reason?????????? Of the two I think the Burnhams & their friends are the least culpable here. Let's have a little perspective can we?

You demonstrate a typical "knee-jerk" uninformed liberal (anti-faith) response. The Burnham's were kidnapped, along with other vacationers, from their rooms by Islamic terrorists who wanted to force their beliefs and demands on the Philippine nation. To this day as Gracia prays for her captors who are still alive and she encourages other to join her in those prayers as well as reaching out to the Islamic peoples. So there you have it, beliefs that encourage kidnapping and murder or beliefs that live out what it is to "do good to those who hate you and deceitfully use you". Gracia's beliefs say it all for me!
