Question to ui.

Our power feed for the maples and birch banks comes off route 110. lt then splits to seperate runs in the old ball field. One leg to birck bank and the other leg to the maples. We in the maples have no damage to are power lines but burch banks has extensive damage.

Why would UI not install a cut off switch towards birch bank allowing 48 customers to be restored here in the maples. It would only take a single crew an hour to instsll the switch. Instead we will have to wait till monday or later. Tried to explain this to a contractor from out of state. He said he was just working on an estimate to repair the damage.

Holy shart! I can't believe the hatred aimed towards these poor guys... they are working like dogs to restore power. My neighbor is one of them- he worked 36 hours straight and then fell asleep on the way home, and hit a tree with his truck.
They are working like dogs people! Seriously!
