you do not know my sister she is a very good mother she did not know he was going to do anything to his own daughter. just because they argued does not mean she thought he was going to hurt her daughter. she has to work in order to pay her bills. every couple has fights.
get a life and stop talking about my sister

Your Sister knew he got Drunk EVERYDAY!!! Your Sister also knew that there was a restraining order against him for danger that he had ALREADY put her and the Baby in yet, she put the Baby in his care anyway!! That alone was an EXTREMELY irresponsible act. She is, unfortunately as guilty as he is. By putting the Baby in his care for even one minute she broke the Law pertaining to that Court order!! Period!! And worse than that she put her Baby in harms way!! Because of that act this tradgedy occured. I don't think that she knew this would happen but, non-the-less her bad decision was a big part of what happened. Can you argue those FACTS??
I doubt it.

My question is with all the mother's family on here saying she was a good mother and how terrible the father was "where were you when the mother needed a babysitter so she could go to work?"Maybe if the mother had a little family support this would not have happened. Everyone is saying they knew there was a protective order against him so why did nobody offer to help the mother out & babysit for her so she could work?

Honestly, that shouldn't fall on anyone. Family should be there if you need them, but she gave birth to that baby. It was HER responsibility to get herself to & from work & find someone to watch her other than her drunk *ss father. You have a child, take care of it. Don't look for others to help or rescue you. That's part of motherhood...RESPONSIBILITY. Noone HAD to help her. If she feels she had no other option other than leave her baby with a man that she knew damn well had issues of drinking & violence, then she will answer for that in her own time. There are no excuses. There is ALWAYS another option. If a man is abusive, violent, anger issues LEAVE HIM. Dont cry later bc he hurt you or your child. Its too damn late for that. The whole world could have offered her help, but if she chose to stay with that man...that is her choice and she will answer for it.

I don't need anyone to drive me around(or for anything else).I work fulltime, have my own apartment, bought my own car(& believe me it's no hoopdy-Far from it lol)go to college,volunteer...I'm a single parent that does not depend on the state & I don't receive child support-so what makes anyone else different? A strong woman doesn't need anyone's help she makes things happen!

at the end of the day, it sounds like she felt she had little choice in the matter, sadly the father of this child couldn't be trusted.
-
Ironically, she is not alone, many single mothers feel abandoned by family and friends, and end up on their own, without anyone reliable for support.

Is there an update on this story? Did the baby get layed to rest yet? I haven't heard anything. I was just thinking about her today because on the news there was one baby put in a street drain and another mother getting put away for killing hers. What is wrong with people?

You never know someone by appearances. I know this man personnally and yeah he is weird at times but to hurt a child never that. I would have believed it if he had beaten his girlfriend. But he just loves children too much to do that.

But these rats don't give a hoot. It's wham bam thank you mam and out the door.

The Original-I sitting here reading all of these comments about Rodney Brown rotting in *&^% but as of December 09' it appears that the death may have been "sudden infant death". He may have accidentally rolled over on the baby but I don't see where rape or assault occurred. People, dont' judge until the facts come out and even then, don't judge, just pray.

How many? Where would I find this information? I myself am glad that my kids are older and I don't have to worry about adverse reactions from the vaccines.
