Its easy to blame poor customer service but that completely ignores the fact that Wallmart has even poorer service but still outsells Sears. Did I mention folks cant afford Sears prices?

"The slowest liquidation sale ever"

From what I've seen and heard over the years this battle was lost over a decade ago. Every executive and board member for the last 15 years or so needs to be blamed along with the current incompetent management team.

Poor prices, service and shopping experience have steered the company in the wrong direction far too long. They are working off a failed model and demographic. Sears Rewards card-pfffft.

OVER A 1/2 BILLION DOLLAR LOSS report today. SOS

It used to be a good store in the 1960s and 1970s and their stuff was good and passed from kid to kid within the family. I have had a recent bad experience with them. It is my own fault that I have had bad service since I should never have purchased there. At least with Walmart you sort of expect disposable stuff, cardboard furniture, etc. you expect Walmart furniture to be land filled since everything is disposable. Even Kmart in the 1970s had woollen maple leaf jumpers for girls that were passed down from sis to sis then to girl cousins. Stuff actually lasted.

Yup. Time for Sears to go bye bye since many of us have been screwed and don't want to go buy buy in your store. Shop elsewhere for sanity and heart health. Life is too short.

They sell overpriced junk, don't honor extended warranties that people have paid for,

They sell washing machines that explode and blame the customer,

They spit on their iconic trade names like Craftsman and Kenmore and think this is funny,

They take 8 hours to change 2 freakin' car tires.

They Started having their Craftsman tools made in China--now any smart person avoids them or buys other brands of tools.

The list goes on and on and they don't care. Eddie is spinning this retail giant out of business and laughing all the way to the bank. It's a valuable land grab is what it is.

How they've even lasted this long is nothing short of a miracle. The way they are acting they won't be missed. Should have gone out of business a long time ago, just like all those department stores in 1987/88.
